THE FROG
Once upon a time, there was a frog named Fred who lived in a pond near a farm. He loved to hop around the pond and catch flies with his long tongue. He was happy with his life, but he always felt like something was missing. He wanted to find someone to share his life with, someone who would understand him and love him for who he was.
One day, he saw a cow named Clara grazing on the grass near the pond. She had big brown eyes, long eyelashes, and soft fur. She looked so gentle and kind that Fred felt drawn to her. He decided to hop closer to her and introduce himself.
"Hello," he croaked. "I'm Fred the frog. What's your name?"
"Hello," she mooed. "I'm Clara the cow. Nice to meet you."
Fred was amazed by her voice. It sounded so sweet and melodic that he felt butterflies in his stomach.
"You have such a beautiful voice," he complimented her.
"Thank you," she blushed. "You have such a cute smile."
They started talking and found out that they had many things in common. They both liked to eat green things, they both enjoyed watching the stars at night, and they both dreamed of traveling the world someday.
They became friends and spent more time together every day. They would sit by the pond and tell each other stories, jokes, and secrets. They would play games like hide-and-seek and tag. They would cuddle under a tree and watch the sunset.
Fred realized that he had fallen in love with Clara. He wanted to tell her how he felt, but he was afraid that she would reject him or laugh at him. He thought that she would never love him back because he was just a small frog and she was a big cow.
He decided to keep his feelings to himself and hope for the best.
Clara also realized that she had fallen in love with Fred. She wanted to tell him how she felt, but she was afraid that he would be scared or disgusted by her. She thought that he would never love her back because she was just a clumsy cow and he was an agile frog.
She decided to keep her feelings to herself and hope for the best.
One night, they were lying on the grass under the moonlight when Fred gathered all his courage and said:
"Clara, I have something important to tell you."
"So do I," Clara said nervously.
They looked into each other's eyes and said at the same time:
"I love you."
They were both surprised and delighted by their confession.
They hugged each other tightly and kissed passionately.
They realized that they had wasted so much time hiding their feelings from each other when they could have been happy together all along.
They decided to never let go of each other again.
They lived happily ever after.
