Ethan POV
I walk into the house it is calm like the calm before the storm I don't like it that sends a shiver down my spine
as if on que my mum starts shouting. here we go only my mother can scare me when she is like this as she is unpredictable and dad is away at another pack for business so cant help me I take a deep breath stand tall ready for her like Im going into battle.
"Ethan George Bennett" mum shouts from upstairs
I know its bad when my mum uses my full name
'well of course she is upset she found out that you got our mate pregnant but we didn't tell her' my wolf said sounding smug
'yeah your right but you don't have to sound smug about' I rolled my eyes

I then blocked our mindlink
mum came storming towards us
"Ethan is it true that you knocked up that b***h Mia Murphy you can do so much better than her she is a worthless piece of crap I will never accept her or that b***erd child." she said with so much anger
looked at fuming if she wasn't my mother I would have ripped her head off I calmed myself
"mum how dare you speak about my mate that way she is lovely and will be a great luna yes the kid is mine what is your problem with her?" I asked wondering why she hated Mia so much
"oh hell no she is not your mate but if the moon goddess has put you together then good f***king luck because I will have nothing to do with baby or her I will only talk to you on the phone when I want" looking at me like I was the scum of the earth
"if that's what you want to do then fine I cant stop you but please mum I hope in time you can accept her because she is not going anywhere" I said with the assurance that I meant it
"I will never" as she stormed out of the house like a tornado.
I took a deep breath again as it felt like I hadn't breathed in ages I decided to phone dad and give him the heads up for when he gets home tomorrow
"hello son is everything alright" dad asks with concern laced in it
"hello dad no not really dad me and mum have a massive fight as I have found my mate and she is pregnant with my pup"
"congratulation son that is wonderful who is you mate then"
"Mia Murphy" there was long pause on the end of the line then dad spoke
"that is wonderful news but I understand why your mum doesn't like her there is some history behind that which still plays on her mind to this day"
"what happened dad I need to know Mia wont come here until things with mum are ok or at least enough that she wont have to feel she doesn't belong here"
"ok son here it is when me your mum and Mia's parents where in our late teens Mia's mum had a little crush on me and me and your mother where together and Mia's parents where together Sarah (Mia's mum) told us all and said she will not do any thing as she loved mike but your mother got really paranoid thinking that whenever I was out that I was with Sarah but that was not the case I reassured your mum as I love her so much but due to all the stress she was going through with it all she lost our first pup we were both heart broken so where Mi's parents for us. your mum blamed the whole family still does im sorry son but I don't know whether that scare will ever heal."
"thank you for telling me dad I really do apricate it I just don't know what to do now" I said the sadness in my voice I really didn't know what to do I wanted to bring Mia here but I don't want to make mum worse.
"son when I come back I will talk to your mum but leave Mia coming here for a week so your mum can get her head around it and if needs be we will move"
"dad im sorry I never wanted that to happen but I better go get pack business done see you tomorrow"
" see you tomorrow son it will all work out"
I hung up but I felt so full of emotions that I needed to go let my wolf out for a run.
Mia POV
after Ethan left I laid down to have a sleep as I felt so tired again only to wake up an hour later to feeling hungry
I decided to order takeaway as I was graving Chinese and cheesecake once I had ordered I phoned the pack doctors to see about booking an appointment to check to baby I then sent a text to Ethan.
'im worried will Ethan want to come with us or even be with us' I said to my wolf worried
'mate loves us and wants to be with us if not we can kick him in the ball' she said with a smile growing
'haha I like that idea' I thought smiling aswell'
I sent a text to Ethan saying 'Hi Ethan I have booked an appointment tomorrow morning at 10 with the pack doctor to check everything is ok I hope you can come love Mia x' I didn't get a reply back after a little while I then started to feel all upset that he didn't want to be in the babies life and he just said it to make me feel better stupid hormones I said with wiping tears from my eyes which wouldn't stop falling then there was a knock at the door I thought it was the Chinese and the cheesecake or even Ethan but I never thought she would know where I was.
"Anna what are you doing here?" I said with terror in my voice as she looked like she was dressed to kill
"Im here to put an end to your families rain of terror on me and my family" I backed away towards my phone then ran to the toilet and locked myself in while she was running after me then banging on the door like a woman posset. I picked up the phone with shakey hands and phoned Ethan he didn't pick up the first time I tried again and he finally picked up.
"hello Mia are you ok?" he asked worry in his voice
"your mum is here im locked in the bathroom she has gone crazy HELP ME" I said before I got cut off.
