Oliver´s Pov: *ring* *ring* *ring* I opened my eyes hearing the sound of the alarm. Here we go again I thought. I get up to turn off the alarm and look at the time. It´s 6:15 in the morning and I groan. I have to leave at 7:00 in order to make it to school on time. I walk to the bathroom, brush my teeth, fix my hair, and wash my face. After I'm done I walk back to my room to change. I put on a black long sleeve and hoodie with a pair of dark blue jeans. I looked in the mirror to see if I looked okay and I sighed. I really hate how I look. I hate my short stature, my green eyes, my long eyelashes, and how my lips are naturally pink. I hate how I have so many feminine features. I turn around to look at the clock again. It's 6:50. I grab my backpack and black converse and start walking down stairs. I walk out of the house and start walking towards the bus stop. I pull my phone out of my backpack and put my airpods in my ears. The bus arrives and I walk inside and sit all the way in the back. The bus starts to drive and I zone out listening to the music. As I see the school I pick up my backpack from the seat and put it on. The bus stops and I get off. I walk into school and as I turn the corner of the hall I see Adrian. Dammit I hope he didn't see me. Adrian is my longtime bully, he's always made fun of me because of how I look and at one point he started to physically hurt me. I turn around and start walking the other way but I stop because I hear him say something. “Hey faggot” he said. I turn back around and see that he's walking towards me. “Did you just try to walk away from me?” he said in an angry tone. “n-no I just” I said before he cut me off. “n-n-no, what are you some kind of retard?” he said mockingly. And his two minions laughed. “I just forgot to pick up a book from the library,” I said, almost whispering. He grabbed the collar of my hoodie and slammed my back into the nearest locker and I winced as the pain traveled through my back. “I don't give a s**t if you forgot something, you better not ignore me. DO YOU HEAR ME?? stupid faggot” Adrain said raising his voice. “yes...” I say quietly. He lets me go of my collar and I fall. “I´ll see you after school behind the bleachers you hear me faggot?” Adrian says. I nod my head and he starts walking the other way and his minions follow him. *sigh* “great I'm scheduled for a beat down” I mutter under my breath. The bell rings and I make my way towards first period History. I walk in and I see Alexander knightly, the most popular guy in school, captain of the varsity football team, and next in line to become alpha of the pack. He really has everything anyone could ever want. I even heard a rumor that he was dating Tiffany Ashina, captain of the cheer team. She's the most popular girl in school, the queen bee. I walk down the aisle, sit down in my assigned seat and the bell rings again meaning that class has started. The teacher takes attendance and starts talking about a project we have due next week. She then starts teaching about the American revolution or something I don't really know since I zoned out halfway and before I knew it class was ending and everyone was packing up. ~~~ The rest of school went by in a blur and before I knew it I'm walking to the bleachers behind the school. I spot Adrian there with his two minions. “Look its the faggot” Says one of the minions. Adrian turns around and smirks. Goddess I hate my life so much... I thought to myself. I stopped right in front of them and I could immediately tell that they were smoking cigarettes. I unconsciously scrunched my nose because of the smell and I guess he didn't like that so he blew the smoke in my face. I start to cough and Adrian and his minions laugh. In a sudden flash Adrian kicked the back of my leg and I fall to the ground. And his minions grab my arms and pin them behind my back. Adrian lifts up his fist and as he's about to punch me I flinch and close my eyes waiting for the punch to come. But it never does. I slowly open my eyes and I see Adrian on the ground grabbing his nose in pain. And on top of him is Alexander. “What the f**k!” Adrian before realizing who just punched him. He looked up, eyes wide realizing that it was Alexander. “What did you just say?” Alexander said in a harsh tone. “N-Nothing” Adrian said nervously. He then looked at his minions as if asking for help but they dropped me and ran away as soon as they saw Alexander looking at them. “Look man I'm sorry can you let me go?” Adrian asked nervously. Which was kinda funny because it looked like he was about to cry. “Don't apologize to me, apologize to him” Alexander said pointing towards me. “uh Sorry” He said. I could tell he didn't mean it, but I was so dumbstruck by the whole thing I just nodded. Alexander let him go and he ran as fast as he could and I giggled. I've never ever seen Adrian so scared in his life. Alexander walked up in front of me and held out his hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me up from the ground. “Thank you” I said nervously. “Your welcome uhh sorry what's your name?” Alexander said, scratching the back of his head. “O-Oliver Everly” I said stuttering a bit. “Well Oliver nice to meet you, I'm Alexander knightly” he said giving me a smile that could make anyone fall in love. “y-yeah I know who you are” I said in a low voice. “Ah so my reputation proceeds me” he said laughing. And I just nod my head. “Well Oliver are you okay? I saw how they kicked you” he said look worried. “yeah I'm fine” I said looking down. This is so embarrassing I thought. Alexander just saw me being bullied. Oh my goddesss. “Okay well I'll see you around, I'm gonna be late for practice bye!” He waved and ran towards the field. what the heck just happened! I thought to myself. Alexander just saved me from Adrian, thats so embarrasinggg I could just die.
