“Naya felt tired and stressed out from the whole day , her head bagged as she walked inside of her apartment after dropping Henry off ”.
“She moved her left hand , slid her card in her door lock while it's open, then bagged it inside the room”.
Rushed fast to the bathroom , on the shower her back touches the running water while she scratches her body with her paw paw scrub , the water rushes down to her waist as she turns for it to touch all her body parts .
When she was done from the bathroom , she held outside of the bathroom her towel tight round her chest with a blue hair bonnet on her head , she wore her pink up and down trousers with a mini top together with matching slippers .
“ marry him ?”Her mind flashes to what's happened, grabs her phone as she checks some Emails addresses , her hunger for job opportunities, she strode down to the last Email messages but no single new message pumped up .
Lay her head on her bed , her hands above her head as she thinks of a way forward . She rushed into her laptop beside her , opened it while her hands runs across the keyboard searching for information about him .
“Why can't I get a solid reason to marry him ”, she looks round the laptop staring at each research she did , but none shows about any shedding business ”.
“Oops ”, her phone slips from her hands with a sleepy face, she closes her laptop, lays her head and sleeps off .
The next day , Naya had been at home doing some house chores with the hope of getting to the location on time , she got a mopping stick , slid it inside the bucket of foaming water , and lifted it up as she cleaned her room ground .
Her alarm rings , making her panicked from the sound , she rushed to the phone place as her eyes winged at the time shown on her screen. 1:45 pm .
“Oh my God, I'm close to being late ”, she screamed, squeezing the water off the mob as she wiped the ground with speed before depositing it inside the kitchen sink before heading to the bathroom .
Two minutes past Two o'clock, her heart beat fast as she rushed fast into her car as she headed to the location , a very quiet place for such information.
She looks confused , stares at her Gps, it's shown 22 meters close to Scotland , UK.
"An abandoned farmhouse in the Scottish Highlands ”
“I'm here ”. She mumble to herself , parking her car near a long tree and she gets down staring at the place while her phone in her hand is tight . Walks closer to the farmhouse with her face being cautious.
“Come in ”. A voice from within the house spoke , making Naya shift back with fear gripping her body as she shook. It was very scary and a dark place in town .
Pushes the door , it opens making the scrak sound , she stares for the last time before heads inside the house , her eyes meet with the dust cover all over the house . Her eyes widened seeing a big spider above the ceiling fan .
“Where are you ?”. She asked, still heading inside and deep in the house , her eyes scanned the parlor , with some old family pictures of the owners of the house. An old wooden chair faces the window as he wicks back and front making an old sound , Naya keeps calm and hears some footsteps heading to her side”.
The old lady with the young boy walks close to her , from the room area Naya stares at them as they head towards her direction.
“My daughter, you came ” the old lady Brenda Nicholas asked , she smiles and walks with her walking stick while the boy helps her for support.
“You asked for my present ma ”. Naya said , turning to them facing them as she spoke.
“Harrison Green isn't what you think he is ”. She explained , the little boy helped her as she sat on the wooden chair beside her , Naya looked at her curiously. Her gray hair floats from the heavy breeze from the forest , she stares at the old lady before she sighs.
“ What do you mean ma ”. She said,
The old lady passes a document , it shows Harrison Green names on it as the rival of Her dad . Naya looks frightened as she looks up at the old lady , her hands shivering holding the documents while she keeps on staring at the paper .
“Where do you get it ?”. Aya laughs, tries to control her emotions as tears drip from her eyes making her voice scrak .
“It doesn't matter , but you have to trust me ”. The lady coughed , spoke while she held her chest to breathe for air .
“Who are you ”? Naya asked , standing up to leave with fears inside of her , her legs shaking as she started leaving.
“I'm Brenda Nicolas , your dad's old chief maid , for the past ten years I had been working for your dad. I knew his in and out but after my failure of health I had to resign . I can assume that your Dad tried his best to put you in his own interest ”. She spoke .
Aya laughs , her right hand holding her lips as she laughs out loud , the old lady staring at her in confusion while Naya left on laughing .
“In his own interest ”. Naya asked , her thought of her dad leaving her up till his death before he could love her .
“He did actually, he never stopped loving you even for once , he had to pay your mum to hide you from all these evil people around you . He knew your existence could bring more harm to you and his family , please understand his reasons ”. She raised her eyebrows , Naya stared at the pity of her large eyes , asking for mercy .
“Then why now ?”. She asked, furious .
“You will know soon , Harrison Green isn't a good man , he is your Dad's rival and also a bad man. He wants to take over your Dad's empire over to his name , please be careful ”. She advised, her eyes began rec as she coughed , the young boy rushed towards the window as he opened it widely, making air to wing inside the room .
“What should I do then , I'm scared ”. Naya asked , coming closer to her while her ears itching for a solution . Brenda looks at Naya before she sighs little .
“You have to accept the deal , then get in control of your Dad's empire ”. She explained.
“What do you mean by 'Accept the marriage?”. Anger flows inside of Naya while her eyes become red as Brenda stares at her .
