"What's happening!? Why is she turning white, dammit!?" The King shouted loud at the nurses and maidens. The nurses all shook with fear as the raced around the hospital room, trying to find anything that could ease the Queen's pain, and the King's rath. "Eliajh.." The Queen's weak voice whispered out, trying to gain the attention of her worried husband. The King was still oblivious to the Queen's calling, as he continued to shout at demands to the nurses and maidens. "Elijah.." This time Queen Amelia reached out for her husband's wrist, hoping it would gain his attention. As soon as King Elijah felt Queen Amelia's touch, he snapped his head to her direction. Giving her his full attention as he crouched beside her bed. "What is it my love? Are you hurt? Where about? I'll try my best-" Queen Amelia only shook her head, as she mustered up her best smile. But her sadden eyes couldn't hide her pain, as a single tear rolled down her cheek and onto King Elijah's wrist. "I need to tell you something, something important my love." Queen Amelia whispered out weakly.  This only caused Elijah to be more attentive, as he feared if he missed one single word from her, he would regret it for the rest of his remaining life. "What is it my love?" King Elijah replied, his tone hoarse. But he was focusing hard on not letting his tears fall. Not in front of Amelia. He couldn't let her know how scared he was, for he promised he'd keep her safe. Amelia only smiled weakly up at Elijah, but love was filled in her eyes as she stared deeply into his. That was until she adverted her eyes behind King Elijah's shoulder, were there laid their crying baby girl. Alina. Queen Amelia's eyes then held sadness, coming to terms that she would never be able to mother her child they way she hoped through these months. King Elijah followed Queen Amelia's gaze, looking over towards his crying daughter. He then looked down to his feet before looking up towards Queen Amelia's eyes. "Protect her." Was Queen Amelia's final words, before she let eternal rest overtake her.
