CHAPTER 2

Tension in the air and with Aiden ready to fight whoever comes his way looks at the man whose face was just revealed and was shocked as it seemed he was looking at Jesse but he turns and see Jesse, and it seems they are brothers identical twins to be precise. Jesse face becomes serious and he ask his brother Jason what he was doing and Jason told him he is the one leading the knights to a new age by unlocking black magic and he would need Aiden to do that, his blood is very vital for the unlocking of black magic.

Jesse smiles and tells him he would have to get through him before he can get Aiden, Jason gives the order to capture Aiden, in the twinkling of an eye Jesse gets where Aiden was and stands in front of him and Aiden holds the axe waiting for the first person to come to him, Aiden is a lazy person but he is not a bad fighter. The first four people towards him and before Aiden could move his axe Jesse swops in and takes them out, the next set comes and they are five, Jesse uses his stick bashes one on the head, the other comes about to hit Aiden, as Aiden tries to block Jesse intercepts takes his sword and hits him in the head with it, two other approach simultaneously he goes behind them uses his big stick takes them off the ground, jumps and gives them a rolling kick on their heads and gracefully removes the stick from Aiden’s axe and throws it straight to the forehead of the last one.

Aiden in awe of how easily Jesse took down the first nine men stands still and in a matter of seconds the whole thirty knights have been taken down by Jesse a feat he knows no knight can ever achieve, Jason looking at the knights furiously and then turning his gaze to his brother tries to throw a spell at him but Jesse moves swiftly, dodged it and then goes behind his brother with a knife at his throat telling him that there isn’t going to be a next time and gives him five minutes for him and his rascals to get out, Jason smiles and then leaves with rage in his eyes and the knights leave fearfully.

Jesse goes to Aiden who is still in shock because of everything that transpired and s****s him on his head and Aiden gets himself back together and sees Jesse taking out a red orb puts it in water and then moves his hands weirdly and mumbles something in his mouth, then the water glows followed by a beam which explodes over a wide area and he stops, Aiden asks what he did he told him he had increased the fortification of the area, you need to get some sleep Aiden because tomorrow is the beginning of the type of intense training that would break your mind if you aren’t strong enough.

Early the next morning when the day hasn’t even began its day Jesse woke Aiden up and gave him an axe, told him to go and cut down firewood that he didn’t cut the previous day, with sleep still troubling him and confusion all together Aiden reminded him of the intense training he said they would be having, but he insisted that he go into the woods and get him some firewood, Aiden still skeptical took the axe and went to the forest to cut down trees going to be used as firewood.

Many hours later Aiden had cut down the number of firewood his master had told him to cut, thinking that he could finally rest, he was told to split the wood into fine bits that can be used for cooking, Aiden wanted to complain but he thought it was part of his training because after seeing him fight the previous day all Aiden wanted was to be able to fight and move like him so he continued even if he cut down twenty logs of wood he went ahead to cut them up.

While he was busy splitting the woods he saw his master lying down doing nothing although it infuriated him he continued splitting. It was beginning to get dark and Aiden was still splitting wood he had never done that type of hard work in his life but somehow he still continued just because he desired to move swiftly and fight like his master did, Jesse called out to him for him to come and eat he came and sat down after been given a plate he looked at the food it wasn’t looking pleasant and he had no idea what it was but Jesse gestured for him to eat up and told him it was healthy for him so Aiden went ahead to eat up, he tasted it found out that it tasted quite good, while eating he realized that it was his first meal of the day he was quite impressed that he could go on that long without eating.

When he was done Jesse let him know that before he went to bed he should finish splitting the firewood and arrange them, Aiden tried to complain but shushed him with a long stick which he always carry along with him, tired and angry he went ahead to finish the splitting. Aiden was finally done with the splitting and the arranging and it was very dark outside he didn’t have any way to check the time, went to have his bath, lay down and closed his eyes to sleep because it had been a very long day.

Not up to two hours later Jesse woke him up and told him to go and cut more logs of wood and arrange Aiden told him he had done that yesterday and talked to him about deforestation and how it affects the environment, when he was done talking he let him know that all the firewood he arranged has been put back into use, confused by the words that came out of his mouth Aiden rushed outside and saw everything he had done had disappeared, pained he took the axe went cut down the trees, split them and arranged them just like he did the previous day and still slept late. This happened for a week without any proper training, not wanting to complain he kept quiet for the past week but it began to seem that Jesse was using him to do his chores so after working that day he decided he would confront him the next day.

As expected Jesse came to wake him up and Aiden confronted him about him being there for a week and all he has done was just cut down wood and the trees just find a way to grow back on their own, he needed training because Jesse was the one that told him he was going to save the world, with a smirk on his face he took Aiden outside, gave him a stick and told him to attack him, he rushed forward, swings his sword multiple times and then stops, he noticed that that his reflexes had become faster and stronger, impressed by what he had done he tries more attacks, smiles, runs and grabs his axe to go and cut down some wood but Jesse stops him and lets him know the second phase of his training is about to begin.
