As as soon as we arrive at my father's company I walk in with my head held high
Some of the receptionists rose at my entry but I refused to pay them much attention. I could spot through the thick doubt in their eyes. I needed to prove my worth before demanding respect.
Alvin met me in the lobby and smiled before coming to hug me. “I almost gave up on your coming. Who would have thought that you whole people would be interested in the business side of things? I mean as long as we are alive, the wonders will never stop.” He said before stretching his hands out for a handshake.
Colton grabbed his hands in a firm handshake, smiling softly as he looked around.
“I think this is going to be the perfect time to introduce you to everyone since we already have a meeting slated for 11:00 a.m.”
