Sarah's POV.
I kicked my feet against a stone, lamenting as the pain rushed through my entire skin making me wonder what exactly I had done to deserve such treatment.
This was something that I could have been prevented but here I was in a huge mess and couldn't even save my neck out of the fact that I had lost a huge deal.
It wasn't even great that the man whom I had professed to love treated me like trash I didn't even bother to ask for my well-being.
It was going to be a hard decision to take but that was exactly how I felt and I didn't feel remorseful.
I balanced dearly to weep after realizing that I was never going to amount to anything in his eyes.
She probably felt that I was not worth any efforts and even though I tried as much as possible, it just wouldn't be enough.
