Colton walked in with his brows slightly raised yet uttering no words. It was very calm but made me uneasy. "Hey, I didn't think you were going to show up." My voice sounded a little too high, making me sound guilty of something that I knew I was clear about but I didn't want to back off though.
"Yeah, I just decided to pop in to see what's been going on so far. It's lovely to see that you've been busy. I thought that you would be so swamped with work." A backhanded accusation yet his face remained neutral.
