Chapter 16

Luke

The view in front of me surprised me and was provoking all sort of feelings inside of my chest. Ava looked so hot, her hair was tided as usual in a long braid, her pump lips were rosy, sexy looking to me but not so much for Mila since Ava’s canines were coming out. She was fuming, if I got this correctly, she was jealous and she was jealous because of me. I couldn’t hide a little smile poking out of my lips. Ava doesn’t know this but after her accident I ended everything with Mila. I mean, it was too obvious what I felt for Ava, I couldn’t leave her bed side in the hospital and I was on the border of losing my mind and on top of it all, I threatened Mila to kill her if she let Ava died. As I get closer to Ava and Mila with the tray of food in my hands, I see Ava’s eyes shift to me, they flashed between her wolf and her eyes.

“Babe! It’s me, everything is fine”. I get closer as I still see her breathing rapidly. I handed the tray of food to Mila and wrap my arms around Ava and got her closed to me.

“It’s ok baby, I’m right here with you” – I kept saying to her while moving my hands up and down her back. She pressed her head in my chest and I held her there for a minute. A stunned Mila was still standing there, tray in hand so I spoke to her.

“Mila please put the food on the table and leave” She did as she was told but she didn’t look happy. I couldn’t care less, my only concern was right here in my arms and anything that threatens the peace of mind of Ava, had a problem with me. Her breathing was regulated now, I pushed the door closed behind us and I brushed my lips to hers, I couldn’t hold it any longer. I needed her, I needed to taste her lips, to feel the warmth of her skin, to be closed to her and that’s what I was planning on doing.

We kept kissing, initially with a soft kiss then with a rough one as if trying to destroy her mouth. I knew I had to take it easy, but I’ve been doing that for far too long.
