It was a indeed beautiful picture that I've seen. "Okay, where do you want to go next, darling?" Nilingon ako ni mom habang nag-aayos ng gamit namin. "Ah mom, I think we need to go home na... I'm so tired from school and I didn't have the chance to change my uniform, look oh," tumingin ako sa suot ko gan'on na din si mom. Tinignan ako ni mom mula ulo hanggang paa. Napatango-tango siya.
"Okay, let's go." As she said that lumapit siya sa'kin at inakbayan ako. Mom loves to do this. "Happy Birthday, anak," She looked at me, happily. "Thank you mom." Niyakap ko siya sa beywang niya at hinalikan niya ang buhok ko.
Si dad ang nasa harapan namin naglalakad habang kami ay nakasunod lang sakanya. When he was about to enter the driver's seat, someone called him, again. His gaze went to mom, it looks like he was asking permission from mom if he was gonna answer the phone. Umiling nang marahan si mom, telling him not to. Dad looked back at the phone, thinking if he would answer it. Dad let out a heavy sigh before answering the phone.
Tumingin siya ulit kay mom. Para bang nag-uusap sila thru their eyes. Napabuga nalang din si mom ng hangin like she doesn't have choice. "Go inside, wait for me. I'll just take this call." Dad said and then he left. "Mom, who's that?" I confusedly asked her when we got inside the car.
"Don't mind that, It's just the business." Mom said while texting someone.
"Okay..." Mahinang sagot ko.
We waited a long time until I got bored so I asked my mom who was busy on her phone.
"Mom," I called her. "Hmm?" She responded, nakatingin pa din sa phone niya at isang kamay naman niya ay nakapatong sa bintana at nakapatong ang ulo nya doon.
"What if I bring some boys into the house?" I have no intention to bring other boys there... I just want to tease her and see her reaction to it.
"Tigilan mo 'yan, dianna." Tinignan na ako ni mom nang masama. Napanguso ako pero gusto ko pa siya asarin. "Mom, kasi ano I have a new friend..." I pretended.
"Then? What?" Mom asked. Mahinang sabi ni mom pero pagkairita ang nahihimigan ko dito. Omyghod. Her face was so epic I cannot. "Maybe... If I can ask him to go to the house for my birthday?" I said.
"No..." Napabuntong hininga na siya sa sobrang kakulitan ko.
"If you will still continue convincing me about that, just go with us in the state and we'll celebrate your birthday there. Choose." Mariin niyang sambit. Habang ako nagpipigil nalang ng tawa. When I can't hold it anymore, nilabas ko ang tawa ko.
"Why are you laughing?" Mom looked at me horrified. She's looking at me like I was being possessed. "Mom, you know what, you're getting old na. You can't even take jokes na!" I said habang hinahampas ng mahina ang upuan dahil sa sobrang tawa ko.
Nang hindi umimik si mom, I stopped laughing. Napatikhim ako at napa-ayos ng upo. Saktong pag pasok ni dad sa car.
"What happened?" Mom asked dad, worried.
Dad didn't utter any word but he just looked at mom, angrily. I was getting nervous. I was getting nervous because of the tension between them.
Mom looks like she's getting the point of what dad trying to say. Kumalma si mom and parang hindi siya makapaniwala. What's happening?
Pinaandar na ni dad na walang salita. I was getting confused by their actions. What's their hiding? Is it too deep that hindi ko pwedeng malaman? I was getting eaten by my confusion but still, I control myself to not ask any questions about it. Baka lalong gumulo at madamay na naman ako.
"Okay... We're already here." Dad said.
Nauna na akong lumubas at akmang kukunin na 'yung mga pinamili. "Stop, papakuha ko nalang sa driver, rest first." Pagpipigil sa'kin ni dad.
"Thank you dad," tipid akong ngumiti sakaniya bago ako tuluyang pumasok.
"Dianna..." Mom called as I passed by her. Mas nauna pa pala siyang pumasok dito, no wonder, kaya pala nakaopen na ang main door and wala na si mom sa labas kanina. Usually, mom stays first at the backyard after namin matapos mamili. And yes, our maids were on a vacation, for now. But when my birthday comes, they were already here.
Lumingon ako ng marahan kay mom. "...are you okay?" Mom suddenly asked. "Yes mom, I'm always okay." I almost whispered, getting tired already because pagkagaling na pagkagaling ko pa lang sa university is tinawagan kaagad ako.
"Are you sure?" Mom ask me again to confirm if I was okay. "Yes. Now can I go to my room now?" I pointed at my door.
Napatango ng marahan si mom and then ngumiti siya ng tipid. Probably bukas wala na sila. Maagaa silang umaalis even tho hindi pa naman time para umalis sila. They always reasoned out that there was so many papers to sign, so yeah. No problem to me at all. At least, my friends from the other school will come so that I don't felt loneliness if kaming tatlo lang. Duh, nakakasawa na kaya pagmumukha nilang dalawa.
Before I completely lay down on my bed, I changed my outfit to silk pajamas, I love them, they were so comfortable to wear. As I was done changing, I decided to post some pictures in Ig that we took earlier.
I posted the picture that dad was looking at us, and when I borrowed mom's headband, we were laughing that time so, it was perfect too.
I posted that two pictures and caption them.
"Best had."
And then... upload!
After uploading it, I decided to do my skincare first. The first thing that I was going to use is sulfur soap. I mean it was super effective and it was perfect because I had a little acne on my face so yeah...
Then next, I put some aloe vera mask on my face and massaged it with a face roller.
While massaging my face, a notification popped out. It was some likes to that photo that I just posted earlier. And so many random comments saying.
Such as, "Omg, ang gandara mo talaga!"
"How to be you ses?", "."
That were the comments that I was receiving every time that I would upload my photos. But, hindi naman ako nagrereklamo.
Pero, hindi talaga mawawala ang mga kaibigan mong crazy.
"Huy!!! Taray mo vebs, parang kanina lang nakikipag-away ha." Duke said in the comments.
"Oh pak! Kaya pala nang iwan! Kilalanin niyo kasi binabangga niyo sa comfort room!!" Solis said.
Napairap ako sa ere, kapag talaga nakita ito nila mom and dad... hopefully not.
Ibinalik ko ang tingin sa screen at napagisipan na asarin si sol.
"Did you enjoy the moment?" I smirked to myself. Imagining her face. Maybe now, she's turning red right now. Kinikilig.
"Shut up." Sol replied in the comments.
Sabi na nga ba eh, ang dali mapikon ni loko.
