“I’m going to sleep now. I want you to sit on the floor and watch over me. You are not to go to sleep. Wake me at exactly 8:00 a.m. Good night.”
She closed her eyes. In a short time, she was asleep. I sat there suffering with my sore butt. I watched her sleep for about an hour. Then I put my head down on the side of the bed and dozed off. Suddenly, I was awakened with Rosalie kicking me.
“I thought I told you not to go to sleep. It’s after 8:30. I wanted to get up at 8:00. Punishment will be forthcoming.”
She got out of bed and went into the bathroom. I heard the shower running. I sat on the floor and waited for her to return. Within a few minutes, she came into the bedroom with a towel around her head.
“Crawl out into the kitchen. I’ll be there in a minute.”
