Mea Maxima Culpa
When Adam Adrian was in the eighth grade at St Clements elementary school, a Bishop addressed his class. The subject was selecting a vocation. He outlined the merits of being a Priest. He also pointed to the perks that Priests received when working for the church.
“They live in a Rectory and have all the comforts of one who is wealthy. Their meals are prepared for them daily, they have maids who clean their rooms, clean their clothes, and they receive a monthly salary. They are entitled to a paid vacation, four weeks out of the year.”
Adam was sold. He was going to be a Priest.
