The Stranger.
Elizabeth
I sat on the grass, in the lonely farm I have been weeding all day as hot tears drops down my cheek. The tears flows and mingle with my sweaty face which had been covered with dust and dirt caused by working all day in my Aunt's farm. It was a hot Monday afternoon, as the sun shines so bright in the sky, pouring its radiance on me, I was tired and hungry, but I couldn't leave the farm until I finished weeding all the weed on it. My life had changed within the twinkling of an eye. As this wasn't the life I dreamt of one year ago. As I sat in the lonely farm thinking of how horrible my life has turned out to be, I heard someone called my name from a distance.
"Elizabeth."
The voice called. I turned around and saw no one at sight.
"Elizabeth."
I heard the voice ringing in my head again.
I stood up from where I sat as panicked engulfed my scary face, there was no sign of a living soul as my eyes searched through the lonely Bush.
Here in the community were I lived Monday was a big market day, people from every where around my community and even other nearby states, come to my community to buy and sell there goods, so I was the only person in the farm.
The voice called again for the third time, and as I look around, I saw a figure lurking in the nearby bushes, I scanned my eyes towards the direction of the figure as I saw a man.
He was coming towards the direction were I stood, he was around six feet tall, slim with perfectly fitted broad shoulders. His face shown under the rays of the sunlight as it pours its rays on his perfect figure.
I was mesmerized by his presence. His steps were well calculated as he walks towards me, I felt my feet transfixed to the ground as I find it difficult to move my legs.
He came to me and held me by my hands.
"My Princess," I heard him say as he brought out a clean handkerchief from his pocket to wipe my sweaty face and the tears which flows down my chin.
I felt my head light, and as though my soul was leaving my body, he leaned on me wrapping my little figure under his embrace, as he placed soft kisses on my lips. I closed my eyes lost in the moment.
As I opened my eyes he was no were around me.
"I must be dreaming, " I said to myself.
I looked around the bush but he was gone.
So I picked up my hoe, hung it over my shoulder and hurriedly leave the farm.

I stood in the nearby bushes and saw her work alone in the lonely farm, the sun was hot and she was here all alone, my hearts breaks as the sorrow in my heart increased, I have been waiting for so long watching her from a distance, I wanted to wait a little longer, in order to fulfil her mother's wish, that she must be up to eighteen before I tell her about the engagement, but as I saw her tears, I felt I couldn't wait any more.
She was beautiful, even in the loose dress she wore her skin gives out a blushing brown glow under the sunlight.
I hide in the bushes as I called her name, she turned and her bright brown eyes shines as she searched for the voice that called her name.
I walked close to her and held her hand, it was my first time holding her, I could feel her heart beat under my embrace, then she closed her eyes, and I planted a kiss on her succulent lips, she was loss and buried with the passion of my touch, I look up to her and see her eyes still closed, I left her gently without her noticing.
