It takes me roughly two hours to explain to Tia everything that’s happened between Chase and me, and by the time I finish, the sun is notably lower in the sky. Tia has been mostly silent while I explained everything, with the exception of the occasional gasp or groan. Now, I sit anxiously in front of her, waiting for her response. Part of me hopes that she'll chastise me and agree that I need to reject Chase as soon as my wolf surfaces. There’s another part of me, though, that hopes she'll have some magical insight on how to make this work. Tia hums thoughtfully, rubbing her temple rhythmically, like it’s helping her form a thought. I'm practically on the edge of my seat by the time she speaks.
