Chapter 15

I showered, dressed and met Cathy downstairs. She promised to fill me in on everything. 

I still couldn't believe my mom and Kevin are gone. I still have no clue if my dad is alive or what happened to my pack. I walked into the library Cathy was in. 

"Sit child and I will answer your questions and tell you about your mother."

"Ok." I sat down in the leather chair across u from her. 

"Do you want me from the beginning or do you want to ask questions first?"

"Start from the beginning." She smiled and nodded. I knew my questions would be answered.

"Thirty two years ago your mother met her mate Denis. They fell in love but there love was a secret. He was part of the grey witch covin and she was the leader of the white witch covin. She was expected to mate with a white witch. There are laws but they didn't care. She would sneak away and soon she became pregnant. Talia had gotten jealous and ran off. She turned dark and vowed she would destroy the covin of the white witches. Your mother gave birth to twin boys. Ryan and Dylan. She knew that the covin would not except the children and Talia had tried to take them. Right before the twins were born Talia had ambushed Denis and killed him. Fearing for the babies lives she asked me to hide them so I did. They are safe. Before she met your father he had a mate. She died in childbirth with Jarred but he needed help with a protection spell from the white witches. Rogues kept attacking and sue to losing his mate he was weak. Your mother longed for her babies and when his mate died she chose to step down as leader and mate with your father. It took years for them both to fall in love but they did and they had you. Your mother casted a spell to hide you. Not even I knew you exsisted. She hid your powers and kept you pure. The day I found out Talia killed her and went to the pack is the day I found out about you. Not only are you half bred but you're a powerful pure witch. Your powers are strong but right before your mother died she transferred her powers to Ryan, Dylan and you. Forgive me Lilly but she ripped your mother's heart out for a spell but it didn't work. She knew that her powers were gone but when she tried to track the twins she found you. Your so powerful that you can unlock the Volt to the underworld. Your pack survived. Your father, brother and mate, yes Kevin is alive but he has changed. They started searching for you but could not. They asked me for my help when I returned. I had to leave to see if she found the twins. Thankfully she hasn't found them. You three together would be alot of power for her. Anyways we have been searching for a long time and Kevin could sense your pain and even see some of the things you went through. He begged me to use the bond to find you. We had been trying but nothing worked. Locator spells, blood bonds and even trying to use your mate bond. You were gone for two years and the blood moon was coming with an eclipse. Talia needed your blood willingly to open the volt. All I could do was drain Kevin to the point of death and break the bond. The broken bond allowed us to follow the mate strings with his blood you. He barely survived but Lilly I'm sorry the bond is gone. Your pack along with the white witches fought to get you back. Many lives were lost but we got you. Your family wants to see you Lilly." 

Tears streamed down my face. I had lost so much cause of my aunt. I almost opened the volt to the underworld and all I get is a broken heart, painful memories that never happened and a family that lied to me. I got up and walked to my room. I needed to think. 

I sat in the room for several days. I refused to talk to her and I refused to think about seeing my family but I did make a choice, I want leave and live in peace. So tonight I will leave and go to a human city. No witches and no wolves. I'm done. 

-later that night-

I waited until Cathy went to bed and grabbed a bag I had packed. I walked out of the house and headed towards the woods. 

'This is a bad idea. You need to deal with this Lilly' shasha said. 

'No I'm done. I have been manipulated, lied to and my mate bond is gone.' 

'I understand Lilly if this is what you need to do then do it.' She said sadly

So I left. Soon I will have a new life. One that will be mine.

"Why would you let her go?" Frank yelled. 

"She needed to leave. Everything that has happened to your daughter has taken a toll on her. She needs this." 

"She is now unprotected. Talia could take her again."

"She could but the spell wouldn't be as powerful without the eclipse and blood moon together. Don't worry Frank she is safe. She will come around." 

"I hope you are right Cathy."
