Right time with the right person

It's my first day in high school. Mixed emotions are felt such as nervousness and shock, yet excitement kills it all. As soon as I entered the gate, I knew that it was a new and exciting journey that I'd be starting. Then came the time when teachers welcomed the first year. An announcement came in for who was going to be in the STEM class. As soon as my name is called, there's this group of students that cheers. Juda Santos, the STEM coordinator said , "I don't know why, but almost everybody cheers me." I don't know, maybe it's because of my handsome face." Hahahaha, what an arrogant s**t I am .With all that shouting, it caught my attention. I looked at that group and saw this beautiful girl. She's in grade 8, a year older than me. She may not be the most gentle girl because she laughs so hard, but she's as beautiful as an angel. Her name is Jaylen. Jaylen is a gorgeous girl. To be fair, she has an emerald-like eye, a deep dimple, and curly hair. I've grown interested in her. Every day during the flag raising, my eyes are always on her. But as huge as my crush on her is, so is my shyness. I may be talkative in our room and a joker, but when it comes to girls, it may be the lowest attribute of mine. As the days passed by, my crush on her grew more and more until at some point she appeared in my dream.Maybe it's due to me watching her secretly at a frequent basis that she can't disappear onto my mind. Lucky for me she had a classmate which is a friend of mine, and my friend is also a close friend of her. In a coincidence me and Jaylen shares the same love on shoimai. I love shoimai you know for it's tender, slightly salty has pork in it and a very rich flavor. If you ask how do I know she loves shoimai too. Here's how the coincidence happen, as I walk into the cafeteria the friend of mine her classmate said: Here it is the shoimai lovers. As I hear my friend I'm in shock and I felt nervous for she's also there beside my friend. It made me blush for I'm confused of what my friend is saying and yeah my crush is right in front of me. To my shock Jaylen said: That's it for the shoimai it's too good right? She asked.I answered, ''yeah''with a shy tone. Give me some rest; it's my crush, you know. For a brief moment, it feels like heaven. For a brief moment, it feels like I'm talking to an angel. Her voice is so angelic that I could listen to it for a whole day every day. Damn, I was out of my mind at the time, because every time her lips moved as she spoke, it transported me to a whole new world where she was mine and we were very sweet, talking all day, kissing and genuinely sharing love.Am I dreaming? I asked myself. Yes you are, you cold-lip i***t, my inner self replied. And as soon as the word 'i***t' was said, the bell rang . Krrrt..krrtt. And I came back to my senses. Oh my, I'm day dreaming. Then Jaylen and my friend said, "Hey Juda, we're going now. See you later. I respond, "Yeah, have a great day, beautiful. They then laughed, "Oh s**t, what have I done?" Ah, it's her to blame. She's irresistible. This girly and attractive trait of hers makes me fall in love. But of all her traits, her deep dimple kills it all. After many months, we became casual friends. We talked, we said hi to each other, but my feelings for her grew more . She may not know it, but I'm secretly in love with her. A few months passed by and the foundation day of our school took place. It was a fun and exciting day because there were too many activities and presentations. We had a presentation and a dance number. For some time, it's been required for every section to have a presentation. After our presentation, they are the ones to present next. She's a good dancer. Yeah, she is. I've enjoyed watching her but not until she had a part in a drama-like segment where she had a partner, her classmate. I know I don't have the right to be hurt, but as they present with her partner, the audience cheers and teases them, and I see that she likes it. A bad day for a first-year student My heart was shattered that day. It's like glass that's been smashed by a hammer. I know I don't have the right for her, but yeah, it hurts a lot.
