Chapter 13

The sun-kissed the sky above the forest. Its light shined down caressing the trees as it woke up the forest. Birds peeked out from their nests and began to hunt for worms on the ground. As they went on their day their music began to fill the air. The wind was softly flowing around everyone. Making sure to help all the creatures to wake up. squirrels and other creatures began to stir. Sensing the predators asleep on the forest floor they danced around them. Wanting to keep a distance between them and those who would see them as prey. The two lovers slowly woke as the sky began to dress the sky with more of her colors. The pinks and blues merge to bring a splash of color for the world to see. Birds hiding in the trees still sang their morning songs. The smaller man moved closer to the bigger one. not yet wanting to let go and get dressed. Longing to spend just one more moment in his loves arms. Their skin was sticky with sweat and seed. Both men needed a bath. Slowly the got up and cleaned up the area where they slept. Once they had the stuff packed into a backpack Micheal dragged Kingston off to the river that was nearby. They both got in and washed up. " I am gonna miss you." Micheal said as they walked back. " I am gonna miss you also baby. I am hoping to find out what is going on with the Royal Pack. Hoping to be back here within two weeks. " Kingston said holding the others hand in his. Giving it a gentle squeeze. As they made their way back to Nathan's house they went over their plans. Making sure both were on the same page. The whole time they held the other's hand and held on tight. As an Omega it will be far easier for Micheal to get to know Nathan. As it was easier for Kingston to go to the Royal Pack. He was always told he was one of the strongest Alpha's. He was a bit nervous but did not see how the plans to get inside the pack could go wrong. Closer their footsteps made the journey to the village. Their ears filled with the sounds of kids laughter and people hard at work. These people may have magic but they were not the sort to not put their all into hard work. Once more Kingston noticed how each home was made the same but they each had their own little bit of character. One had flowers right outside their door. Another was built near a big old oak. The tree was so tall it covered some of the roof. It was very quaint. He had a hard time trying to recall what was in its place back home. He hoped it still remained a small town. He was gonna ask Miiocheal if he recalled what was in the place of the small village. But before he did that he heard a commotion ahead of them. There were six figures uphead yelling and waving their arms around. Kingston looked over at Micheal, he also looked confused. They then sprinted forward to find out what was going on. " He was found unconscious on the ground!" A older man yelled angry. " Dean calm down. Getting upset over this is not gonna help." A older woman said from the right of the man. " He has always been our hope. Always. But now. Now I fear this may be the end of our coven. We all may need to leave this area. It's not safe. Also I wont forgive those Alpha's for allowing Nathan to hurt this much and for him to die alone. To think his own mate is doing this." Another man cried out. It seemed that things with Nathan were getting far worse. See with mate sickness setting in he was wasting away. This would not be a thing if his mate was not with another. Kingston knew that he would have to work much faster if he was to save the warlock.
