" Hello, mate." The handsome man said as he stood there naked as the day he was born. The smile on his face was one he did not think he would ever see again.
His eyes were bewildered as he looked upon his mate. He took in a deep breath and then swallowed hard. Deep blue eyes soaked in a sight that he never thought he would see again.
"Michael is that you," he said.
A sly smile formed on the other man's lips as our gaze was locked. His right hand moved through his short black hair as he took a stance that was a bit sexy.
"Of course it's me. I pleaded with the goddess to allow me to help you with this mission that she needs you to go on. I.. I could not stay away. I had to be with you once more" Michael said looking rather shy.
"How did you know?"Kingston asked. His heart beating fast in his chest.
" Since coming here I often have visited with the Goddess. I also came across Elizabeth when she came here. I am sorry that you both lost your child. We, me and her mate had hoped it might help the both of you heal." He said then looked at the ground and then towards the Goddess.
She has since moved once more close to Micheal. Her left-hand reaches out and touches his bare right shoulder. His kind eyes found hers and he offered her a smile.
" I know you both may be wondering why I failed in my duty to your kind. Allow us to find somewhere more comfortable to sit and I shall explain it all to you. It seems that I did not heed all the things that could happen. " She said smiling at both men and then moving away.
Kingston found his way back on his feet. Once he was upright he began to follow the Goddess. After taking two steps he felt a hand take hold of his right. He looked down and then towards his mate. On the face of his love was a bright smile.
" I missed this." He said and walked beside Kingston. Both now holding hands and following the Goddess.
As they followed her into the forest it seemed like she was leading them into where it was thicker. Not only was the ground filled with plant life and animals but even the trees were plenty and held life. This place was truly magical.
After what seemed like maybe thirty minutes of walking they came across a small wooden cabin. It looked quaint and homey. It was done up in redwood. The roof looked to be also of the same wood. From the front door, two windows were looking out with wooden shutters that could be pulled back if needed.
She led them inside and to a living room that was also done up with wood or cotton. The whole thing felt like the safe place you had as a child in your mother's arms.
