Alpha's Regret

Chapter 17

Following the alpha king outside he led Kingston to where a field was. In the field were at least twenty men. All of them had muscular bodies. One man stood in front of everyone. He was just over six feet tall with a good build. His hair was cut short but you could make out the auburn in his hair. His face was clean cut which for this time was not seen often Kingston thought.

" George come and give this new recruit a workout. See where we should put him." Alpha Steele yelled out.

Everyone stopped at once with their workouts and showed their necks in respect. The man George took steps towards the duo after he bared his neck.

" Have you ever done any type of manual work boy?" The man asked.

" Yes, I have." Kingston offered up to him. He knew that he would have to prove to be powerful but not too much. He and Micheal had to fly under the radar so to speak.

" Come show me what you got," George said.

Kingston moved forward and soon entered the arena. It had been a while since he last had a good workout. None of the exercises were different than those he was used to.

He knew when there first guy came right at him swinging his arm right at his face what to do. He dodged and then tripped the other guy. They then sent fists at one another. Soon they were moving in a circle and attacking one another when they seen an open spot.

This activity took about fifteen minutes before Kingston found a lucky shot and finally hooked his right arm around the other mans throat. He forced the other to submit.

Both the Alpha and his beta George clapped their hands. Right after that they had Kingston doing other exercises to see what he was able to do. Being on top of his fitness his whole life it took awhile before he found himself needing a break.

By the time night time came around and he had been shown his room in the building that housed single male wolves. They also had one for female single wolves. From what he could gather they were housed here til they mated. Then the pack would build them a home.

Beta George explained that once Kingston's mate joined him, they would then get their own place. Cause Kingston had no clothing or any belongings. The pack seen to his needs. This was normal behavior for packs to do. It might of started with the Royal Pack but everyone did this where Kingston came from.

As he sat down in the dinner hall with all the pack he watched the Alpha King's family sit down. As his gaze landed on Jason he began to think of a way to befriend him. Soon he was partakening in the food that was set before him.
