Passion POV
'i've been ignoring Derick for 3 days. actually i haven't been talking to anybody. ever since i broke up with Ethan i've been happy as hell, but i don't know how to show it. i just stay to myself and myself is all i need, f.ck everybody else ! mama and pops been worried about me but i reassure them that i'm okay and that there's no need to worry. i'm just taking myself day by day. anything can happen. i get up to get ready for school and take a shower. i get out and lotion up, put on a cheetah print pencil skirt, black shirt and my cheetah print sandals. i grabbed the rest of my sh.t and made my way downstairs and outside to my car. i haven't been driving my baby in awhile. i missed him. i get in my car and started driving to school in silence. when i pulled up in the parking lot everybody was in they groups and the h.es were being that. h.es. when i got out the car everybody stopped talking and looked at me. i smiled and made my way into the school. i went to my locker and got my things. when i turned around Ethan was right there in my face.'
Passion: what do you want ?
Ethan: i miss you Passion.
'i laughed in his face and walked away. don't nobody have time for him. the bell rung signaling to go to class and started my way there. when i made it the bell rung and i took my seat. the teacher explained the assignment and everybody got to work. the door opened and i heard a deep, sexy voice. i lifted my head and saw a sexy light, dark skinned boy. he had black dreads with them light brown at the bottom, eyebrow piercing and a lip piercing. he had tattoos and his eyebrows were thick. his lips looked good to kiss and you could tell he had a body. today is starting off good.'
Teacher: class we have a new student. introduce yourself.
Boy: hey, im Jeremy. i moved down here to California from Chicago. yeah.
Class: well you can take a seat next to Passion. Passion raise your hand.
'i raised my hand and he walked towards his seat smirking at me. i smirked back and he sat down. you can see all the girls staring at Jeremy in awe. Derick walked in and i forgot that he sits where Jeremy is sitting now. Derick went to go talk to the teacher and the teacher gave him a new seat over by this girl name Lizzy. she's a quiet one. i turned my attention back to Jeremy and he smiled at me.'
Jeremy: that's your dude ?
Passion: naw, im single.
'he smiled and started working on his assignment. i looked over at Derick and he was glaring at Jeremy. i don't know why he doesn't even know him. the bell rung and packed all my stuff getting ready to leave and i felt someone tap me on my shoulder, i turned around and was face to face with Jeremy.'
Jeremy: can i have your number ma ?
'i smiled and placed my number in his phone. i walked to my next class all smiley. i had a few more classes with Jeremy and now it was time for lunch. i sat with Jeremy and we were having a good tie until Derick and Sky decided to bring they asses over.'
Derick: wassup Passion ? why you been ignoring me ?
'i shook my head and bit into my burrito.'
Passion: because i can.
Derick: whos he ?
Passion: why don't you ask him.
Derick: whatever. hey dude, what's your name ?
Jeremy: im Jeremy. moved here from Chicago.
'Derek nodded his head and we all started to eat. i looked at Sky and she was staring at Jeremy. basically drooling. nope, not gonna happen. i text Jeremy to look up and move his head slightly to the right. when he saw her staring at him she looked down and he shook his head. we began laughing and Derick looked at us confused.'
Derick: what's funny ?
Passion: nothing.
'the bell rung signaling lunch was over and Jeremy walked off since we didn't have the same class. unfortunately me and Derick did.'
Derick: forreal Passion. why you been ignoring me ?
Passion: Derick, lets not.
Derick: so you like ole dude ?
Passion: yeah. hes cool.
Derick: that's your new friend now ? you being nice ?
Passion: wasn't i nice to you when you first came ? yeah we friends and ? instead of talking to me about him, you need to talk to your girlfriend.
Derick: what you talking about ?
Passion: you really didn't notice that she was staring at Jeremy the whole lunch ? shake my head.
'i went to my seat and he went and plopped in his looking mad. that's what he gets. he needa put her ass in check, cause i'm thinking about getting to know Jeremy, and i don't need her or Derrick in my way.'
