13 Zach was nervous when they walked into the county courthouse. He’d only been there once for jury duty years ago. Appearing before a judge was not something he was used to doing. Gianna took the lead, speaking to the clerk and asking for a special hearing due to extenuating circumstances. When she explained exactly what those were, the clerk flashed Summer a look of apology.
