Blessed be the berries, whatever the hell happened around here? "Woohoo!" said the gentleman, who I thought to be the professional coach, as he put his hands together and whistled loudly once again. After that enchantment, I was out of breath. I'll confess it. I wasn't expecting such a thrilling adventure. I understand how inconvenient it was to wear black and attend a sporting event. But it was entertaining. "A few athletic updates for the whole week: as you are all aware, the Maybeck Birds beat the Sunset River Domains in beach volleyball last week. "Pummeled! Destroyed!! Crushed!! " Everyone said it again. I was seated at the front of the lecture theatre's line, where Bea and Zoe had found me and instructed me to stay. I didn't want to leave, and I certainly didn't want to become a part of the school community. The act of picking at my fingernails was relaxing, but it wasn't enough to ease my worries, especially when the bell rang and students flooded the auditorium. My glance swept the crowd, hoping to see someone who looked like me, but the more I looked, the more I realized there would be no one who looked like me here. I was regarded as the biggest student in university.
