"Ouch!", Asher cried as he withdrew the hand Ryx had just hit. "Can't you just have patience? The least you can do is sit your lazy ass and wait for me to finish with the eggs.", He scolded earning a glare from Asher but he couldn't care less. Asher commented making Ryx roll his eyes, "I f*****g hate you." "The feeling is mutual darling." Asher hummed happily as he begin to consumed his breakfast hungrily. He was truly ravished and Ryx food was just what he needed. Asher Anderson and Ryx Jones has been friends since middle school. And that was years back when they were kids but now they are in their thirties and yet still together and closer than ever. Ryx was always on his own in school always bullied for having a feminine body structure and Asher being that brave kid that is ready to beat up anyone who hurt his friend saved him one day and they became close friends. "I wish I had more toys, mom doesn't really have money to buy them.", Asher complained. "You can play with mine, I have many of them.", Ryx said with a smile. "One day I will marry Ashley. She has a good hair, she's pretty and she's nice.", Asher said and Ryx nodded in approval wondering what to say next. Asher then asked Ryx, "Who would you marry when you grow up?" "I will marry Jordan because he also has nice hair, he has good smile and he's nice to me when he's not beating me." "But Jordan is a boy, a boy and a boy can't marry each other." "But I like him even though he's pretty mean sometimes, I still like him.", Ryx replied and Asher just stared at him confused. "Boys are supposed to like girls and not boys, it is a rule of life." "But I like Jordan, I don't like any girl.", Ryx said frustrated glaring at his friend. "If you won't like a girl then you will stop being my best friend and I will look for another friend to start protecting.", Asher said and Ryx looked at him conflicted. "You don't want to be my friend anymore? You want to look for someone else to play with.", Ryx said as rears rolled out of his icy blue eyes. Asher regretted his actions immediately he saw those tears in Ryx's eyes, he should be protecting him and not making him cry like every other person. "I don't want to play with you either.", Ryx said and ran off. After school ended that day, the best friends didn't walk home together like they used to. "Why didn't you walk with Ryx? Did you two fight?", Melissa, Asher's mom asked and Asher just bursted into tears. "I made him cried, I told him I won't be his friend anymore.", He managed to say in between tears as his mom rubbed his back to comfort him. Then she asked quietly after he calmed down, "Why did you say that to him?" "He said he likes Jordan and I told him that boys are supposed to like girls and then he got mad.", He explained quietly and Melissa eyes widened in surprise. "It's true that boys are supposed to like girls but there are special people who like boys and Ryx is probably one of them, instead of Fighting with him, you should protect him cause you love him and he's your best friend, it shouldn't matter who he likes." "So are you going to apologize to him?", She asked and he nodded without hesitating. "Good boy, you shouldn't let things like this spoil your friendship.", She said and Asher nodded his head with the intention of apologizing but that very action of his changed Ryx's life.
