A/n : This is a continuation of Happy Birthday(Tony Stark x reader)
"He would do anything for her. Just to see that beautiful smile of her."
We got into Tony's orange ferrari and he started driving.
"Where are we going, Tony ?"
"You will see."
Again that suspense. Ahh ! This suspense is killing me !!
Trying to get my mind of the suspense, I decided to look at Tony. He looked so handsome like this, his eye brows furrowed slightly in concentration , his black hair being ruffled by the wind.
The wind ! I didn't notice it till now but the wind seemed colder than before. Are....are we going--
"When you stare at me like that, I am tempted to lose control. We don't want a change in plans of today, now do we ? So , don't tempt me. "
I opened my mouth but no words came out. Gah !! Damn you Tony ! You always have the correct comeback to render me speechless.
I turned my blushing face away and looked at the scenery passing by. Tony let out a laugh at my childish reaction.
The cool breeze cooling down my heated face. I momentarily closed my eyes , enjoying the moment.
And then the car came to a hault.
"We are here ."
I opened my eyes only to be greeted with the sight of a sea shore.
I knew it ! So the sudden cool air was the sea breeze .
Tony held the door open for me and offered me a hand which I gladly took.
Before I put my feet on the sand, I hault.
"Hold on,"
I leave my shoes and let my feet feel the cool sea air and the warm sand of the beach.
"Aaahh, I have been dreaming about it since we left!"
Tony does the same, then puts an arm around my waist and lays a delicate kiss on my temple.
He takes my hand in his and walks at a slow pace.
We strolled on the beach , hand in hand, enjoying the sea breeze. Nobody else was on the beach , it's a good thing. After all, it was sunset time.
A stroll in the dusk with my lover. Sounds romantic enough ? Yes !
I stare at our feet embedding in the warm sand with each step we take. A smile spreads over my lips. I hope he continues to love me like this forever.
"Let's go to the sea !"
I said excitedly as I dragged Tony to the water. We walked along the water, little waves wetting our feet with the water. Tony's trousers were wet just a bit from the water but my sundress which reached just above my knees , was still dry. Hmm... I would have played in water but we have to return home, I guess.
I admired the way the our feet immersed in the sparkling water of the sea.
"You should enjoy the sunset. "
I looked up to see the sun setting. What a beautiful orange colour spread in the sky. It looked like the Sun was half way through into hiding behind the horizon , behind the surface of water.
"It's... It's mesmerizing , Tony!"
"Not as mesmerizing as you though."
Again , those silly yet clever pick up lines of his made me blush.
I turned so that I'm facing him. The sunlight broght out the honey colour in his chocolate brown eyes. How fascinated I was just by staring at them.
Tony's P. O. V.~
The way her face looked in the golden glow of the setting sun, the way she looked at me, with those big (e/c) eyes of her, the way her mouth is slightly open as she is absorbed in the moment. Ahh !!
She is tempting me so much. It's becoming too much. But I will have to settle for a kiss now. Then so be it.
I pulled her closer by wrapping my hands around her waist and kissed her lips. I won't hold back now. She placed her hands on my chest.
I asked for entrance and she gladly gave it to me. A passionate kiss . Quite satisfying I must say.
After a while of intense kissing, we separated for oxygen. We both panted to catch our breathe and stared at each other's eyes.
(Y/n)'s P.O.V.~
I panted hard as Tony just stole my breath in that intense kiss. My whole body was ignited with flames at the passionate display.
The cool sea breeze a nice contrast to my heated blushing skin. I took a deep breath to compose myself.
Tony tried to lean in for another kiss but I covered his mouth with mine. He let out a groan and I giggled in return.
"I guess we have to return to the Tower. "
Tony's reaction was worth watching. His face when he realized that he got carried away , he had his 'oh s**t!' look on display.
I giggled even more.
"No wasting time,"
Tony glaced at his watch,
"It's already 6:00 P.M. we have to return to the Tower."
We got into the car and Tony rode us back to the Tower. While the drive, I let the cool night breeze ruffle my hair with a smile on my face.
I'm so happy.
When we got back, I saw everyone were in a rush.
"We have just one hour left ."
I checked my watch, it's 7 P.M. already. So , whatever the big event is, it's gonna start from 8 o'clock. Okay. One hour to prepare. Seems legit.
"Come, I wanna show you something."
Tony grasped my hand in his and took me to our room. When we entered , there stood a beautiful red dress.
"Oh God, Tony, I... I have no words to express my gratitude."
"You don't have to. "
He said with a smile.
"Tony, I could never thank you enough for what you did for me."
"As I said , you don't have to. I will treat you like the princess you are."
"Let me thank you , my prince."
I hugged him and he returned the hug.
"Wear the dress, I want to see you in it. "
He whispered in my ear .
And with that he left me to change into that gorgeous dress. I turned around to the dress and admired it.
As I wore the dress, it seemed that my body was made for the dress and not the other way round. It was an amazing fit ! And the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen!
Then I remembered about Natasha's gift. I went over to her gift and opened it to find glass sandals !
Beautiful glass sandals just like Cinderella's. They sure know how to make someone feel like a princess . On top of that, the hight of the heel of the glass sandal was just the size I am comfortable with. I smiled at the fact that Nat knew me so well .
I put on the glass sandals and the bracelet that Loki gave me and did my makeup. I was ready. I looked at my watch, it's already time. I opened the door to find Tony standing there wearing a white suit .
He linked my arm in his and we both entered the party . Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. So did I.
"Don't you wanna look at the cake?"
I looked up at Tony with an excited smile. He chuckled seeing the childish expression. I bet I looked like a child who just got what she asked for.
The cake was beautifully decorated. And it's large. Wow.
"I... I don't know how to thank you enough for this Tony. "
"Save it. He still has a surprise for you."
Nat said as she came upto us.
Well, after I cut the cake and the others sang the Happy Birthday song, now, here I am. Standing on the balcony. Watching the beautiful starry sky and enjoying the cool night air with a smile on my lips.
"Hey."
I turned to meet honey brown eyes. Tony.
"The stars are really beautiful."
"Like you."
Now I didn't even blush. That just caused my smile to widen.
"(Y/n) ?"
"Hmm?"
Tony bend down to one knee and held up a ring in his hand. Is this what I think it is ?
"Marry me, (y/n)?"
Tears threatened to spill my eyes. This has got to be the best day of my life. And this man made it possible. I never thought that I could have this many surprises in one day.
"Oh God, Tony, yes!"
He slipped the ring into my hand. It was a beautiful diamond ring.
I hugged him as he got up to his feet.
"I'm not a God, you know. "
He whispered in my ear.
"Nope, you are my fiancé."
He chuckled at that. I looked at the ring. It shined with such glitter.
"Tony, this has been the best day of my life."
"Mine too. Because now, I will spent my life with the person I love the most."
Without further words, we leaned in to share a kiss which sealed the promise that we would love each other. Forever.
