The Same Day
The news van was parked in a position in the rear of the parking lot where those entering the burn center couldn’t see it. The last thing the news team wanted was for someone to be aware of their presence, especially anyone from the plaintiffs’ firm. Surprise was something they wanted on their side. Seeing the plaintiffs’ counsel approaching the facility, a reporter exited the van with a microphone in his hand and briskly walked toward the entrance. A camera crew followed behind him.
“Mr. Stone. Mr. Stone,” the reporter pleaded while following after the attorney. He was almost out of breath. “Wait please.”
