Before the Explosion
After Joseph exited the main building of the Regal Wisteria Wailea resort and walked outside to the courtyard, he noticed a small pathway that he realized led to the villas. He then checked his cell phone for the villa number where he was supposed to meet his contact. He walked toward the villa while casually looking around to see if he was observed by anyone. He saw a resort guest or two and even a few children playing on the pathway. To his knowledge, he wasn’t being followed.
When he arrived at the pre-arranged meeting place, he looked inside one of the villa’s windows and saw no one there. He then walked around the side of the villa. Still, no one was present. Checking the front door, he noticed it was unlocked. He then entered the villa and
