Chapter 21

Sam's POV

Back to glee club with superhero society club weekly. I'm wearing my superhero costume but I cant stop looking at the door and waiting for Kate to walks in. I turn around and she is not here and where is she? Did she really quit the glee club?

"Okay, guys, sit down. We got a lot of work to do today. No, seriously, come on, I mean it, sit down." Finn says to us as we are all sit down on our seat. "Okay, so the first order of business today is to welcome the newest members to the glee club Ryder and Kitty." Finn says to us and points at Ryder and Kitty.

"Wait, don't we all get to vote on her or something?" Tina protest.

"Well, Tina, Kitty was fantastic in Grease." Finn says to Tina.

"In spite of my god-awful part." Kitty says proudly.

"Besides, we're under the gun. We-we have to go to Sectionals next week and we need 12 members to compete." Finn says to Tina.

"Wait, we dont need her. Without her we already can be 12!" Tina protest.

"Where is Kate? I dont smell her expensive parfume here." Sugar asks and look around.

"Well, she quit the glee club. I tried to convience her but she really mad at me. She even dont wanna talk to me at home. She's been avoiding me all the time." Finn half-smiled at us.

"What?!" Artie frowns.

Tina suddenly start crying and sobbing. I turn my face at her and frown. "Whoa Tina-Tina calm down." Finn says to Tina.

"She was one of the original member of glee club, Finn! She was here sang Sit Down You Rockin The Boat when you and Puck threw slushie at us. I feel my half body gone without her." Tina's crying.

"Cant deny to not blame you, Finn. You know how bad she wanted it and she's gone." Blaine says to Finn.

"Yeah we lost our vice Rachel in glee club." Brittany simply said.

"She is one of our best singer." I half-smiled.

"I blame Artie, why dont you give the part to her? You said that you love her, Artie." Tina's sobbing.

"I do love her but it was over and that wasnt me." Artie frowns.

"Look guys, it's enough. There is no other glee club in this school and she will always come back." Finn says to us. "Uh, look, where was I? Sectionals, yes. The theme is Foreigner. We're gonna sing songs by Foreigner in foreign languages, wearing all the costumes of the world's nations." Finn says to us.

"Kate can speak French and Italian!" Tina groans and crying out loud.

"Tina..." Sugar calm Tina down and rubs her back to comfort her.

"Wait, seriously, that's your idea?" Artie frowns at Finn.

"Yeah." Finn nodded.

"Finn, times have changed. We're national champions now, which means we have to exceed all expectations, so if that's your best idea, I-I don't think we stand a chance." Blaine frowns and about to walk out from the choir room.

"Wait, where are you going?" Finn asks Blaine.

"I'm going to get our trophy back from the Warblers the one you haven't even noticed is missing. And get your sister back who cried about three days because of the stupid school play." Blaine says and walk off from the choir room.

Finn just standing then turn his face to the trophy rack. I just half-smiled and let my head down while Tina is still crying and Sugar also Brittany comfort her.

No. I cant leave Kate alone. I should find her and get her back here. No one is left behind. I let out a sigh and stand up from my seat.

"Sam, where are you going?" Finn asks me.

"Find my best friend. No one is left behind." I simply said and walk out from the choir room.

I took my phone from my pocket and dial her number but there is no answer. Where is she? Is she already go back home? But she cant drive and I'm the one who usually drive her home.

I turn my way to the football field and look around until I see a blonde girl with beanie hat is sitting down there alone. I know it must be her. I walk closer to the bleacher and she sit down alone. Only with her ransel next to her and sketch book on her lap.

"What are you doing here alone? It's freezing." I said to her and sit down next to her.

"No. I'm not." Kate shakes her head.

I take off my suit and wear it to her. I know exactly when Kate is lying to me. She cant hide it from me. I know her so bad.

"Tina was crying out loud." I said to her.

"Why?" Kate turn her face at me.

"Because you decided to quit." I simply said.

"I wanna shine bright without any walls that hide my talent." Kate simply said.

"Kate, but we all love you. We are here for you." I said to her.

"But I dont wanna go back, Sam." Kate shakes her head.

"Give me one day. Give me one day to show you that we are love you. Give me one day that we can do many things together. After that you can make up your mind. You can choose you want to leave or not. Just one day."

"What are we gonna do?" Kate asks me.

I stand up from my seat and show my hand to her. "Do something you want to do. Charity." I smile at her. "Come on."

Kate stand up from her seat and hold her ransel on her back then holds my hand. "Shall I wear my superhero alter ego costume?" Kate asks me.

"If you want you can but for today no." I shake my head.

"Okay.." Kate simply nodded.

I dont want her quit from Glee club because it will make me alone. Besides she is like a lost girl today. Go to school with pajama pants and sleeping slipper? That's crazy.

Kate's POV

I just realized that today my outfit is really weird. I went to school with pajama pants, cropped tank, a knit long cardigan, also sleeping slipper.

Quit the glee club make me lost. Sam was right. I shouldnt leave but I'm already disappointed. I'm mad at Finn and I even dont wanna talk to him. But I guess I should follow what Sam said. Give him one day to change the world and maybe I will change my mind later.

"Come on, let's do this." Sam grins at us as we hold rolling brush and painting brush.

They start painting the wall with white paint and clear this wall from those stupid street art that some people made illegally. I build a smile on my face and move my rolling brush and start painting the wall.

"Change your mind already?" Sam grins at me.

"Everything needs its process." I chuckle and splash the paint to his face then laugh.

"No way!" Sam shouts and pain my cheek with his brush.

I cant help it and laugh out loud. I splash the pain to Blaine and make his red clothes and his face become white. This is so much fun.

"Kate, look at here." Blaine laughs.

I shake my head and laugh and cover my face with my hands until Blaine take my hands then he paints my cheek with his hand full of tint then kisses my cheek.

I'm still laughing and we really have a lot of fun but also really do charity. I splash that ink again to Blaine but he run away and it turns out to Ryder. And Ryder turn his face at me and looking at his tshirt.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I said to Ryder.

"You need to pay for this." Ryder chuckles and splash the tint he hold to my face and my clothes.

"Oh no!" I shake my head then laugh.

I can see that everyone's here become white because we are not covering this dirt wall but painting at each other. I take the tint and splashing it around and not only one who get that but most of them.

"You got this." Jake laughs and throw the tint he hold to me.

I'm laughing and run away. I run and hide behind Sam's back and Sam paint my nose with the brush he hold. I paint his cheek and his whole face then kiss his cheek and make a mark of lips on it. This is really fun. Like literally.

"You really made my day today." I grin at Sam and lay on my stomach in my bed facing him.

"Have you made up your mind yet?" Sam asked me.

"Not yet but I will think about that later. Those charity things are fun." I said to him.

"I just dont want to see you go to school with pajama pants." Sam simply said.

"But it was cool, I think. It's like bad lazy day outfit." I said to Sam.

"I dont understand with that." Sam frowns at me.

"Then just shut up." I said to him and push my face closer to him.

"You dont wanna close the door first?" Sam asks me.

"For what? My dad will be more suspicious if I lock the door. Do you want me to kiss you or not?" I roll my eyes.

"I want to." Sam grins and close his eyes.

I chuckle and take my teddy bear doll and crash his lips with that teddy's mouth then laugh out loud. Sam open his eyes and then groans. I'm still laughing and lay down next to him then Sam start tickling me.

"Sam, stop it!" I laugh and trying to push his hand away.

"No way." Sam shakes his head and laughs..

"Okay please stop." I chuckle.

"Okay." Sam finally stops tickling me and he is right on top of me right now.

I put my hand around his shoulder and chuckle until we both start making out in my bed. This is stupid. We arent dating, and I dont have any feeling for him but we love making out together.

Sam and I pull our lips away. He go back lay his body next to me and look at the ceiling.

"I love you, Sam." I turn my face at him.

"You do?" Sam turn his face at me.

"Yeah... you are the best of the best friend ever. I mean I cant imagine to have a best friend who wants to cry with me and make out with me. Thank you." I smile at him.

"It's okay." Sam smiles back at me.

"Alright, I'm gonna get drink." I said to him and stand up from my bed then walk downstairs.

Sam's POV

"I love you, Sam." Kate simply said.

Did she just say she loves me. Wait, did she finally realizs that I'm totally into her and I love her more than this friendship.

"You do?" I turn my face at her.

"Yeah... you are the best of the best friend ever. I mean I cant imagine to have a best friend who wants to cry with me and make out with me. Thank you." Kate smiles at me.

"It's okay." I fake smile at her.

"Alright, I'm gonna get drink." Kate says and walk out from her room.

I'm still laying my body in her bed. I though she really want to say that she loves me more than that but I was wrong. She still doesnt have any feeling for me. I dont know what to do. I dont wanna break friendship but I do love her. I really do.

I dont know how to tell her but if she tell me first about she feels maybe it will make me so much easier to tell her but I guess that she will never ever tell me. She just think that this is pure friendship when the fact it isnt anymore.

Kate's POV

Sam and Blaine really made up my mind and I guess I should go back to glee club. I might mad at Finn but it would be unfair if just because I'm mad at one person then I quit and make bad things for them. No, I dont wanna do that.

Now I'm walking in the hallways of McKinley wearing my superhero costume. Yeah I'm a part of Student Council and I should be a part of Superhero Society Club.

I'm Hawkate. The combination between my hawk and myself. My superpower is shoot violence down with my fabulousness.

I keep walking in the hallways and turn my way to the choir room. Finn is standing in front of them and wearing his stupid superhero club that kinda weird actually.

"So I decided to try something new Dynamic Duets. This is gonna be......"

"Can I join?" I walk into the choir room.

"Kate! You're back!" Tina grins at me.

"I think it would be totally unfair if I left just because I'm mad at one person. That was very childish, I know that. And I feel like lost without glee club. I mean, how could I go to school with pajama pants." I said to them.

"Alright, you can seat." Finn says to me.

"I'm still mad at you and I dont wanna talk to you ever again." I glare at Finn and sit down on the front row.

Finn rolls his eyes and let out a sigh. "Okay back to the game plan." Finn says to us.

"Oh, so wait are we all gonna have to wear costumes?" Marley asks Finn.

"And who exactly are you supposed to be? The Bulge, who makes gym socks disappear?" Artie asks Finn.

"Please don't melt us with your bulge." Brittany simply said.

"Well, I am the Almighty Treble Clef, Uniter of Glee Clubs." Finn grins at us.

"Jesus is the only real almighty superhero." Kitty simply said.

"Amen." Joe grins.

"Nobody asked you." Kitty glares at Joe.

"Come on, guys, let's hear him out." Ryder says to us.

"Thanks. Look at the Avengers. Individually, they all have amazing powers, but as a team, they cannot be stopped. Right now, we're a bunch of individuals with great powers and talents, but we're not a team. Some of you even have mortal enemies in this very room, allowing the Dark Side to turn us against each other, when we should be focused on the Warblers." Finn says to us.

"Nightbird is handling the missing trophy." Blaine says to Finn.

"Great. Thank you, Nightbird. Jake will pair up with Ryder, Marley will join Kitty to perform the duets. The rest of you, start preparing to fight an epic battle against the forces of evil at Sectionals." Finn grins at us.

"What a bad assignment." I whisper at Sam.

"Better than yesterday actually." Sam simply said.

The bell rings.

I stand up from my seat and walk away from the choir room until Ryder blocking my way and smirks at me.

"What are you doing Friday night?" Ryder smiles at me.

"Umm..."

"Dude, back off. We will go out." Jake suddenly interupts us.

"Yeah? When you ask her out? I didnt know about that." Ryder frowns at Jake.

"You dont need to know everything her and I did okay." Jake frowns at him.

"Guys. Stop this." I roll my eyes.

"So, you still will going out with me right?" Jake grins at me.

"You deserve better than this womanizer." Ryder says to me.

"Okay okay stop." I roll my eyes. "Who will be more impress with glee club assignment will go out with me." I smirk at them and walk away.

I walk to my locker and open my locker. I really like superhero costume because this is totally cool. I really like that.

"Carry me to music store on Friday night?" Sam says to me and open his locker which next to mine.

"Cant." I shake my head. "Will go out either with Ryder or Jake." I said to him.

"What?" Sam frowns at me.

"Both of them ask me out and I cant choose which one so I decided to tell them that who will make me impressed with glee club assignment will go out with me." I said to Sam.

"You said that you dont wanna fall in love anymore or be in a relationship." Sam says to me.

"Yeah but go out doesnt mean that I'm gonna date one of them or both of them right? And who knows if they are good guy?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Your choice." Sam simply said and shut his locker.

"Are you mad at me or something?" I frown at him.

"Nope. Why should I? I have something to do." Sam simply said and walk away.

I shrug and let out a sigh. What the hell wrong with Sam? Is he in his period mood? I dont know but he is moody one and dangerous when he is unmood.

Sam's POV

I cant think straight. Jake and Ryder asked Kate out and I'm jealous. I'm jealous but I cant do anything. I have no rights to mad at her. She just consider me as her bestfriend. I might can win from Artie but Jake and Ryder are two cutes sophomore guys and who knows that they can be better guy? Oh damn. I dont know what should I do.

If one of them dating Kate, my hangin out time will be less than it used to. And she wont kiss me or hug me anymore. Also we cant cuddle while gaming anymore. This is sucks.

Now we are back to choir room. I'm just sitting down behind Kate as she is sitting down on the front row until the music begin and they walks in and start singing and smirk at Kate.

They both suddenly fight before the songs end because Ryder hold Kate's hand and Jake punched him. And they really fight.

"Do something, Finn!" Sugar yelled.

"Ugh..ughh." Finn looks confused and then separated them.

Finn holds Jake's body and bring him out from the choir room and Joe holds Ryder's body and bring him out from the choir room.

Kate just look confused and standing on the front. I dont need to fight or do something else to get her because in the end I know that we will end up together.

"I dont know what's wrong with them." Kate frowns.

"Screw that." Artie shakes his head.

Kate just being quiet and sit down in front of me. Those guys fight because of her and I cant do anything. I dont know what should I do. Maybe our destiny to be friends forever. This is sucks.

Kate's POV

I'm sitting down on the sofa near my window and looking at my book. The sky goes to grey and I guess rain will fall down. I love the smell of rain. I always love it.

"For my apology."

I turn my face and Finn is standing in front of me and hold a bowl of mac n cheese. I raise my eyebrows at him. "What is this?"

"I told Jake and Ryder to have a kryptonite lesson and I guess we should have one too." Finn simply said and sit down in front of me.

"Like what?" I ask him.

"Like telling each other our deepest fears or deepest secret maybe." Finn half-smirk at me.

"Why you want to do this?" I frown at him.

"I dont want us fight anymore. We need to stop this feuding. We're a team and you're not only my ex-girlfriend or my friend. You're my sister now and have you ever think what our parents gonna say if they know we're feuding? I know you mad at me but give me a chance. I want to be an adult and what kind of adult who cant fix his problem with his little sister? I dont wanna be one of that. And also I wanna say thank you for coming back to glee club." Finn smiles at me.

"My question is why mac and cheese?" I ask him.

"Last time before you stormed out you cooked me this one and as my apology I cooked you this one. And I swear I cooked this." Finn says to me.

"Well, I just want my senior year become bright. I really want to get into FIT. I really want to be fashion designer and I dont want anyone else ruin my dream." I said to Finn.

"Look at me, no one gonna ruin your dream. You will get that. You are the most talented person I know beside Rachel and that's why the reason I dated you."

"Okay that's creepy." I frown at him.

"Well, that was over and trust me, you are gonna get that. You're talented and you are beautiful and you got two sophomores crazy about you." Finn chuckles.

"They fought because of me and I'm sorry. I kinda told them to be better so I want to go out with one of them. I dont mean to ruin your lame stupid assignment." I said to Finn.

"Okay I take that." Finn simply nodded. "But thank you for being honest to me."

"I was kinda lonely because Kurt isnt here when I usually told him everything and then the school play cast result and everything so I mad and I blamed you for everything. I'm so sorry for that." I half-smiled at Finn.

"So are-are we fine?" Finn asks me.

"Yes but cooked me mac n cheese until this weekend." I grin at him.

"Fair enough. I also wanna learn how to cook." Finn chuckles.

"So did you talk to Rachel?" I ask him.

"We met during Grease but I told her we better to not to talk anymore. And maybe she will have her first thanksgiving with her new boyfriend." Finn says to me.

"Who way hotter than you? Probably." I simply nodded.

"So who will go out with you Ryder or Jake?" Finn asks me.

"I think I kinda like Jake. I mean, Ryder is such cute one with oldschool Justin Bieber hair and he has arms but since the first time I already like Jake. I was kinda crazy about him at the first time he joinned the glee club." I giggle.

"Good to know. You're really get into Puckerman's magnet." Finn chuckles.

"Thanks for this, Finn." I smile at him.

"That's okay." Finn nodded. "Alright, I'm gonna prepare the setlist for sectionals. Enjoy your meal." Finn says to me and walk out from my room.

I take that bowl of mac n cheese and eat that. Yeah I guess that made up with Finn is better one than stay feuding besides since Kurt is in New York, I feel lonely and miss my brother all the time but I guess not anymore.
