“So have you and Shawn had any luck trying to find out what his father is up to?” Jason asked.
Three weeks had passed since the Christmas party; a new semester at school had begun and Shawn had been very busy teaching and looking for any sort of information he could find about what his father was up to. I also had been very busy with my new classes, but today I had already gotten the two I had out of the way. Not wanting to be alone I decided to spend the rest of the day with Jason. Lucy was at work currently.
“Nope. Shawn has yet had time to confront Nicole’s father about the contract he found in his office with school starting back and all.” I explain. “He seems to think the contract is somehow connected to his past relationship with Nicole.”
