Bad Mood

1145 Words
Five hours passed after Emma's photo shoot. For five hours, Richard Karl always stood not far from Kevin, the photographer. He didn't pay much attention to Emma, who was posing. Richard actually paid more attention to Kevin. The photographer went too far when he asked Emma to pose. Everyone in the workshop knew that Emma was both beautiful and attractive. Her body is graceful, and her skin is also pure white. Absolutely amazing. However, Kevin looks like he doesn't respect Emma at times. Maybe it's because Emma was an artist who had just bounced off an event. But what's the problem with Kevin? The agency has worked with him professionally. Moreover, the collaboration with Kevin was carried out by the production house that houses the movie Emma is working on. It was not Emma's will to work with Kevin. "She's been an actress for years. But she can't pose at all!" Kevin grumbled so, annoyed as he left the workshop. None of the crew dared argue with them because they knew Kevin's habit of getting angry quickly. Kevin is a perfectionist. He always does everything in great detail. But there is one more habit of Kevin that often makes the artists who work with him always deter. Kevin never appreciated the performance of others and always showed himself to be the best. There is nothing wrong with having high self-confidence. But, it would be better if he didn't have to put other people down. Because everyone would try to do everything well. "Emma ..." Gracia approached Emma, who had just finished a photo shoot, and the manager immediately covered Emma, who was wearing revealing clothes with a jacket. "Are you all right?" Gracia noticed Emma's face, which looked down due to several yells from Kevin earlier. Things like this are every day in her career as an actress. But Kevin is the worst. Emma had never felt this sad at being yelled at by her coworkers. "I am all right," replied Emma. A small smile tugged at her sweet lips. But when she saw Richard standing by the door, the smile disappeared like the ocean. The man stood like an ancient Greek statue. Silent without any expression. Emma wasn't sure she could be with this man all the time. "Shall we go home, Miss Emma?" Richard asked without showing any particular expression on his face. Just flat. Makes Emma sick. The girl wondered, after all the turmoil in her life. Should Emma be guarded by a bodyguard who is not at all fun? Emma didn't want her life to be too tense. And it seemed that Richard really didn't fit Emma's personality. "Didn't you see that my work was done?" Emma said as she exited the workshop. Gracia, who saw how Emma was treating Richard, was speechless. Emma is not a curmudgeon who quickly speaks disrespectfully to other people. Then why is Emma acting like that? Can't Emma just accept that Richard is her bodyguard? Richard walked out, following Emma and Gracia. Emma didn't want to change clothes. He just went to the car. "Are you sure you're wearing that dress?" asked Gracia, who followed Emma behind her. Looks like Emma's mood is not good after working with Kevin earlier. Albert's car was already waiting in front of the studio building. There were still a few people waiting for Emma outside the building. Whether it's fans or haters. To be sure, Emma wanted to get out of this place immediately. Before the time Emma broke out leaving the studio building. Richard rushed out first. It was his first time being a bodyguard, but he seemed like someone very professional when it came to protecting someone. It's just that Emma doesn't know that being a bodyguard is a new job for Richard. The man immediately opened the car door for Emma. He also made sure that no one dared to approach his client. "Please, Miss Emma," said Richard. Emma ignored Richard. She just got into the car. Her face looked annoyed. Emma's eyes showed that she didn't want to be disturbed. Not as many people think. Becoming a famous artist was not as beautiful as imagined. The consequence that Emma must now accept is that she has to face various problems during her career as an artist who is currently popular. After Emma and Gracia got into the car, Richard was silent. He didn't know what to do now. Albert, in the driver's seat, immediately rolled down the windshield and poked his head out. "Hi, Mr. Bodyguard. How long will you stand outside the car?" asked Albert. "Can't you see Emma's tired face?" Albert tried to remind Richard of his position as Emma's Bodyguard. "Should I get in your car too, sir?" Richard asked Albert. Albert tried to be patient as he exhaled. I wanted to complain to Melanie–her friend, who recommended this man as Emma's bodyguard. "Then whose car do you want to take?" asked Albert. "I brought my own car, sir," Richard replied. "I can't leave my car here." "Oh, My God." Albert couldn't believe that Richard had to answer his words. Don't be so direct. Meanwhile, Emma and Gracia didn't pay much attention to Albert and Richard's conversation. Emma is in bad shape because of Kevin. While Gracia, Emma's manager, must be able to entertain the artist. "Take your car and follow me to my agency's office!" Albert ordered, raising his voice an octave. "Why do you have to ask? You should have known," Albert grumbled in annoyance. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Richard said as he walked to his car. "Oh, Lord!" Once again, Albert was made to believe Richard's attitude. "Emma is right. I have to change that person right away. Otherwise, I'll go crazy whenever I have to be with someone who is stiff and doesn't get along well like him.” Albert immediately started the car engine, then stepped on the gas pedal and moved the steering wheel to leave this place. Gracia quickly looked back to ensure that Richard followed Albert's car. "Why did you leave that man?" asked Gracia. "Why am I waiting for him? He's a bodyguard. Of course, he has to know where his client's office is. Melanie can't be careless in not giving client data to her employees," said Albert. Albert's car drove fast, leaving Kevin's studio. They arrived in front of the Star Entertainment agency office in less than forty minutes. After ensuring they got a suitable parking space, the three people got out of the car. Emma suddenly jumped when she just got out of the car. How come? In front of her stood the figure of Richard. Not knowing how Richard actually arrived first at the Star Entertainment agency office. "Can't you make a sound when you suddenly stand in front of people?" he squealed in great annoyance.
