Leon hated it when things did not go his way. Lily had always bowed down to him, been there at home like a good girl; his soon-to-be wife had turned into a disobedient nuisance that made Leon feel angry. He clenched his jaw and gritted his teeth as his phone calls continued to be left unanswered and messages ignored. He was not used to such a reaction; he despised it. The fact that Lily had even turned off her location infuriated Leon even further. He had instructed people to find Lily, but to no avail. It was as if she had disappeared off the face of the earth. Leon got out of his car and looked up at the tall building where Mia lived. He did not love Mia; she was just a convenience to him, to fulfil his s****l needs, whereas his fiancée refused to sleep with them until they were married. He loved Lily, but he was convinced he was doing nothing wrong by being with Mia; he believed that Lily was being dramatic and childish, and that she would come back to him sooner or later. He just knew it.
Mia had already poured Leon a glass of wine; it was waiting for him on the coffee table when he walked into her apartment. It was not a huge place, but it was cosy and tidy.
Mia immediately made a beeline for Leon and stopped when he threw his keys on the table and pushed past her, throwing himself on the sofa.
"Someone is in a mood," Mia purred, pulling her blouse down to reveal her cleavage, but Leon ignored her and sighed, shaking his head. "Lily is still ignoring me. I do not like being ignored," he growled.
Mia frowned; she hated Lily with every ounce of her being. She wanted Leon for herself.
"She is probably sulking," Mia said lightly, "You know how she gets, she does not appreciate you, not like I do." Mia pouted as she rubbed Leon's leg seductively. Leon scoffed, "She should be more grateful, the b***h will soon come running back, she forgets what she has."
Mia's smile sharpened as she licked her lips, not taking her eyes off Leon. "I certainly would not forget."
Leon did not pull away when Mia leaned into him; he never did. Being with Mia was easy for Leon; it was not emotional for him. Distraction was what he needed, what he craved right now in that very moment.
Mia kissed him, slow and so sure of herself. She was confident and oozed sexiness. Leon could hardly resist her when she was dressed in black lingerie. He watched, excited, as Mia pulled her long dressing gown off to reveal a black corset and black knee-high stockings.
"Damn," the word fell from his lips as Mia smirked and fell to her knees, instantly reaching for the button of his trousers and taking his hardened c**k into her hand.
Leon threw his head back and moaned with pleasure as Mia slowly sucked the tip of his c**k until he was about to finish off, then she released him and pulled his mouth to hers, kissing him passionately. Leon grabbed Mia, pulling her onto his lap, squeezing her butt cheeks and kissing down her neck. She moaned excitedly as Leon stood up, holding her tightly and taking her to the bedroom. He threw her roughly on the bed and bit his lower lip as he pulled his clothes off and stood naked in front of her. "I am going to f**k you senseless, do you understand?" He whispered in a way that turned Mia on even more. She loved his dominance. Leon crawled onto the bed, pulling Mia's legs apart and kissing up her inner thighs until he reached her p***y. It made him even harder when he saw how wet she was. Mia's body shuddered with pure excitement as Leon expertly explored her with his tongue. She gripped the bed sheets as she quickly reached o****m. "Oh god, Leon." She screamed so loudly as Leon smiled and brought his lips to hers. "f**k me, now!" he ordered her, pulling Mia on top of him whilst keeping their lips glued, stuck in the passion of their kiss. He pulled her hair from her face and looked into her eyes, imagining she was Lily. He always came so fast when he f****d Mia, he never told Mia that he imagined Lily instead of her, though.
Mia sat up straight as she rode him fast. Her breasts were bigger than Lily's, but Leon did not care. He stroked her n*****s and moaned as he felt his body tremble as he orgasmed. Mia knew precisely how he liked it; goodness knows they had had s*x plenty of times over the last year.
Mia stretched out beside Leon. She propped herself up on one elbow as she watched with a smug smile. The sheets were a tangled mess, the room reeked of s*x, and she loved every bit of it. But she could not help but notice that Leon seemed annoyed. Mia's heart sank. She knew that she was just s*x to Leon; he had made that clear as day from the beginning, the first time he had called her to his office and had her bent over his desk. She knew that he loved Lily, but she could not see why anyone would want a dried-up virgin who was as dull as a nun.
"Hey, what is it? Did you not enjoy it?" Mia asked, tracing her fingertip along his shoulder blades, trying to win back his full attention.
Leon didn’t look at her. He grabbed his phone for the tenth time in less than an hour. “Lily still isn’t answering,” he muttered. “Straight to voicemail.”
Mia rolled her eyes so hard it was almost theatrical. “Maybe she found someone else?"
Leon's eyes widened in disbelief, then he let out a chuckle, shaking his head. “Don’t be so ridiculous, Mia. Lily has no friends; nobody would take her knowing she is my fiancée. I am a powerful man."
Mia crossed her arms over her chest and watched as Leon got dressed. She hated that Lily was the one he wanted, not her.
“Why waste your energy on someone who walked away? Especially when she never appreciated you the way I do?”
Leon shot her a thunderous glare that sent shivers down her spine. She looked away, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall from her chocolate brown eyes. Mia's jaw tightened; she knew how Leon was-entitled, arrogant, and so sure that the world would bend to him and his demands.
"Remember, she is still my fiancée, whether you like it or not, Mia Jenkins, know your place," Leon sneered, before walking out of the bedroom, grabbing his keys and slamming the front door shut behind him.
Mia wanted to scream.
She’d done everything — everything — to keep him hooked on her. But every time, it circled back to Lily. Perfect Lily. Sweet Lily.
Leon cursed under his breath as he walked out into the cold air. He pulled his jacket over his body and fumbled for his driver's key. He finally got the door open as the clouds gave in and rain hammered down. His phone buzzed, causing him to grab it.
A text from one of his trusted friends. "Still no sightings, will keep looking." Before he could even reply, another message popped up, this time from his mother. “Leon, this can’t go on. Find Lily before this gets out. The family’s reputation is at stake. Fix this.”
He swallowed hard, the weight of her expectations pressing down on him harder than his own anger. He wasn’t just fighting for control—this was bigger than that. If the news of Lily’s disappearance leaked, it would be a scandal that no amount of money could cover up.
"She will be found."
