On the flight back to Honolulu from Albuquerque, Pari reads news articles on her phone, holding the device at an angle away from Isabelle. Pari is careful not to react to any of the coverage, thus furthering Isabelle's distress and heartbreak. Isabelle leans her head against the airplane window and stares, dazed and numb, into the hazy canopy of grey clouds.
Leaving California, Isabelle's publicist is also flying into Hawaii, to comfort and advise her client. She has instructed Isabelle to continue remaining out of public view until her arrival.
