“First, let me start with an apology,” Andrea began, as she opened the door, unannounced, and walked back into Mel’s office. “She’s a handful and a drama queen to boot.” She closed the door behind her.
“I don’t see an apology for letting a witness go, in that statement,” Mel grumbled at the slightly younger woman.
“What I want to do is apologize for my skepticism earlier. The woman hit on me in the elevator. I have to say, while I admire your ability to live your life openly, I just don’t have that luxury. Not right now. It was a bit disconcerting to have someone see right through me like that.”
