Gabriella leaned into her bondmate as the fear began to pass. She'd kept this secret since Angelica's creation telling no one. Only Maya, her best friend and a prophet knew the truth about what could come of Angelica's future. "Michael when Lucifer and i created Angelica i didn't know right away; you know that. It was Maya who came and told me and she warned me that if he was able to get to her, she'd bring a second uprising against Micah. She told me that he'd brought darkness to the heavens and that it remained here. She even told me i may have been touched by threads of it but my light blocked it. What if....what if...." "If she is touched by darkness we continue to raise her in the light and let her make her choice."
The next morning she and Michael entered the throne room at sun high. As much as she'd wanted to go find her son, Michael had forced her to stay in bed. His refusal to let her out of his sight had resulted in them dancing in the gardens since the sun had come up. She saw the exhaustion on Michael's face even with him trying to hid it and was determined to make it through this meeting so they could both go back to bed. They sat outside the throne room as Micah approached and smiled at them. "How are the proud parents feeling today? You'll be happy to know that not only did Malicah make it to post on time, he is still awake making me very proud. You two should be happy; you raised a good son."
Looking at Leana now, she felt her heart race as her mouth went dry. She sat on the throne beside Michael and Micah nodded at the angel of foresight. "I spent this morning in deep concentration hoping what i was seeing was not true. What i saw was this: Angelica will be powerful, more power than you or Lucifer could have ever imagined. She will pull powers from the Light and be blessed. At her committal ceremony she will be feel forced to choose light.
"The issue is there's a shift in the balance of light and dark. This shift and Lucifer's blood in her veins will allow her on the night of her committal to draw on the true powers of Hades something never done before without a cost. Your daughter was born to be princess of hell and heaven. She will be the only one who can control the power that comes with pure darkness." Gabriella nodded, "Is there no way to stop it?" "Understand the balance is already shifted. It shifted before Lucifer but I don't doubt he was sensitive. There is darkness in the heavens and your daughter will be vulnerable to it. All you can do is continue teaching her the path of light. Also her committal... Prepare her now. You don't have long before she must make her choice. If she even begins to pull on powers of Hades it could end bad for us all. Right now, she's on the right path its your job to arm her with information to keep her there." Michael nodded and hugged Gabriella tightly. "She's not evil hun. Lets keep her safe."
Micah nodded his dismissal at Leana who headed to the door. Before she got there, a shiver ran through her and she froze. She looked back to they as her eyes glassed over. Micah stood to go to her but before he moved her voice full of otherworld power said, "Tell her the truth about her father before its too late." With that Leana stumbled out leaving the three in silence. It was Micah who spoke first, "We prepare her and we prepare ourselves." Michael nodded and held his bondmate. She stood up and said, "She named him Protector and Provider, he plays a part in this too. Malicah has to train harder than ever. Also can we keep this between us.. at least for now?" Micah nodded. "I had no plans on telling the others yet."
Gabriella nodded and as she took her bondmate's hand they left the throne room. She led him back to their room and as they laid there, Michael began emitting calmness to her. She smiled and said, "Can we not think about any of this... not yet anyway? We talk to Malicah after his sparring lesson and then we continue pouring love into our child. We do our part to keep her on the right path." Michael nodded, "I'd like nothing more than to hope our love is enough. She's still on the right path and i have ever hope of keeping together."
As the moon began to rise, Malicah stumbled in to the throne room with Michael. Gabriella didn't want to wait to tell him so she'd sent Michael to get him after the sparring. "Im so proud of you! You survived your first day." Malicah collapsed onto the throne and looked at them, "Why am i here? I just want to sleep." She nodded, "I know but i need you to know about your sister." As they told him about the darkness and danger they could all be in, he began to feel more awake. He understood quickly that the need to keep the heavens safe was what he'd swore to do. "Mom, I made my choice last night officially, but i'd chosen the light years ago. Even if it comes to me having to fight and possibly kill my own sister i would. Im more than willing to do whatever i can to prevent that from ever having to be an option. What Lucifer did was bad but his child doesn't have to make his mistakes...does she?" Gabriella shook her head, "That's what we are hoping and preparing to prevent. He also wasn't evil...that evil was here. He felt in and gave in to it. We can't let her fall too." With that Gabriella fell weak, her voice faltering and as her eyes closed the last thing she felt was strong arms grab her.
