I was beyond irritated and worried at the same time, we were standing just outside the front door waiting for some type of signal to return inside or for them to come outside. But so far nothing.
I leaned against the side of the house right next to the door. I sighed as I closed my eyes and tried to focus on my hearing, maybe I could overhear something to lessen my worry.
“M-My Queen!” I heard Maggie's voice cry out.
