I looked dad in the eyes, “So dad, you said you wanted to talk to me about how Elder Tom wanted to take your mind for the dragon, did he succeed?” I said straightforwardly.
My father seemed stunned for a moment, he looked at mom and then back at me.
“If he is really a threat to us then mom needs to know as well.” I said to him.
“Yes, she deserves to know, but no, he didn’t take my mind. Like I told you I protected myself with a spell while he tried.” He said with a serious look on his face.
I look to my mom to see she had a shocked expression on her face.
“Mom, just remember what I said, ok?” I said quietly to her.
She looked at me and the shocked expression melted away and slowly started to show a serious expression before she nodded her head.
I looked back at my dad
