Jane Is Scared

Daniel had a bad feeling. He hoped the meeting would end soon.

"If everyone agrees and there is nothing more to discuss. So I will close the meeting today. Hopefully in the future our company will expand to Asian countries." Daniel closed the meeting.

Everyone clapped, then they raised their glasses to honor Daniel when he asked permission not to attend the meal because he had to go home.

"Aren't you going to rest first at the office?" El asked.

"No. I have to go home. Something's bothering me. Make sure all directors get their VVIP service well," said Daniel.

"Okay," said El.

Daniel immediately entered the elevator and pressed the button for the first floor. No one was in the elevator but him. The elevator was indeed a special elevator made for him. The goal is that Daniel can quickly move places without having to be disturbed by other employees.

"Why fainted?" asked Daniel.

Virgos are confused. He got up and looked around. "I accidentally saw who Jane really was. But where is Jane?" asked Virgo.

Daniel and Virgo looked at Philip.

"Jane locked herself in her room," Philip said.

Daniel frowned. He had guessed that something must have happened. His feelings and instincts told him something bad had happened. Daniel immediately went to Jane's room. There Alex and Zayn were coaxing Jane into opening the door.

"Jane! Open the door, please," Alex begged.

"No. Go all of you!" shouted Jane from inside the room.

Daniel, who had just arrived, immediately asked Alex and Zayn to leave so that Daniel would take care of Jane himself. After the silence, Daniel could hear Jane's crying. Jane seemed frightened.

"Jane, it's me Daniel. Can I talk to you? Daniel asked softly.

"No! You're just like them, you monster. Get away from me!" shouted Jane.

Monsters? Daniel frowned. It seemed like Jane knew that she and the others were vampires.

"Okay, I'm a monster. But have I ever hurt you? Have I ever killed someone. If so, you can leave this house. I'll give you half of my wealth so you can live out there without worrying," said Daniel.

silence. Jane didn't respond. Obviously Daniel heard the sound of very soft footsteps coming towards him. Soon the door opened. Jane looked at him with puffy eyes.

"Sis, Daniel." Jane hugged Daniel.

Daniel calmly stroked Jane's hair.

"Did someone hurt you?" asked Daniel.

Jane shook her head.

"Is something bothering you?" asked Daniel again.

Jane looked at Daniel. With love, Daniel rubbed Jane's eyes, which were still streaming with tears.

"I promised to protect you no matter what. You are my responsibility, Jane," Daniel said hugging Jane again.

"You have eaten?"

Jane shook her head.

"Okay, let's eat. I will accompany you," said Daniel as he walked with Jane beside him.

They both arrived at the dining room. Zayn had set the table. A full range of dishes including ice cream, pudding and fruit are there. Daniel sat Jane on the lap of his left leg. Then he asked Zayn to get an appetizer and started feeding Jane.

"Eat regularly, so you don't get sick," said Daniel.

Jane hugged Daniel. That day Jane's attitude became spoiled and a little strange. Daniel still didn't know what had happened. The important thing is that Jane is calm and no longer rejects everyone. Meanwhile everyone peeks at the spoiled Jane of Daniel. The five knights were happy except for Alex and Virgo.

"I'm afraid to be alone. Can I continue with you?" asked Jane.

Daniel nodded. He rose to his room followed by Jane.

"Wait here. I'm going to take a quick shower," Daniel said to Jane and asked her to sit on the sofa.

Daniel showered rather quickly. He took his change of clothes into the bathroom. Then when finished, Daniel came out. He saw Jane had fallen asleep on the sofa. Daniel immediately moved Jane to his bed. Don't forget Daniel wrapped Jane's body.

Daniel slowly left the room and asked everyone to gather to tell what had happened during Daniel's absence. Then the story begins when Virgo takes Jane to the garden. Virgo accidentally sees Jane's past.

"What did you see Virgo?" asked Daniel. Virgo definitely knows the history of the red crystal and Jane.

"No sir. I only saw darkness and was trapped in it. I tried to get out but the darkness instead absorbed my strength. My body is getting weaker at the limit of the timeline. Lucky you managed to bring me here," said Virgo.

Everyone was very surprised. This is the first time Virgo can't see someone's past. Daniel breathed a sigh of relief at that.

"Maybe Jane feels guilty about that," Virgo said again.

"But why does Jane call us monsters?" asked Alex.

"That's because previously Jane saw one of us fly or walk fast." Virgo explains everything. Alex feels safe with Virgo's testimony. No one would suspect if Jane's fear was the result of his actions.
