Third Corpse

It was a very sunny day. Everyone is busy in the garden. There is a land that is still not managed and Daniel decides to plant several types of crops there. The most enthusiastic Jane. The fear that Jane had previously felt was not present at all. Jane looked cheerful as if nothing had ever happened.

Alex, who saw that everyone was happy, especially Jane, of course felt like a failure in his efforts. He thought Jane would run away from home and never see Daniel again. Or at least Jane was scared and had to stay away from Daniel.

Suddenly the security gate rang. Everyone was surprised to hear there was a visitor that day. Even though the board does not accept guests has been installed. It seems that guests who come don't care about that.

"Did you put the boards up there properly?" Daniel asked Mark.

"Yes, Prince," said Mark.

"Who's guarding the gate now?" asked Daniel, looking at everyone.

"Leo. He's going to ask the person who's coming over not to visit today." Alex answered Daniel's question. Suddenly Alex's phone rang.

"Yes?" asked Alex. "Who?" asked Alex again.

"Mr. Daniel. The guest insisted on coming in. Said her name was Theresa," said Alex.

"What does that girl want to come here. Really troublesome." Daniel was very upset.

"How?" asked Alex.

"Tell me to come in. Theresa is your childhood friend. Why leave her outside," said Jane.

Hearing Jane's words, Daniel finally allowed him to enter. He decided it was so that Jane wouldn't get bored of being alone and having friends.

"Just tell him to come in. At least Jane has a friend," said Daniel.

Just then Theresa came in. As usual Theresa immediately met Daniel and gave him the food brought from home.

"Thank you," said Daniel.

"There's Jane too," Theresa was surprised. And suddenly feel awkward.

"We live together," said Daniel.

"You two!?!" asked Theresa in surprise. There is a look of disappointment on the face.

Jane approached Daniel who was busy planting. Jane shamelessly asked Daniel to stand up just to hug him.

"We're dating," said Jane.

Theresa was very surprised. Everyone was shocked at first, but then smiled except for Jane and Alex.

Daniel hugged Jane and kissed her forehead. "Is that true?" asked Daniel.

"Of course," answered Jane. The two of them looked at each other as if the world belonged to them alone.

"Congratulations," said Theresa, trying to smile.

"Thank you," Jane said letting go of the hug and getting back to work.

Daniel went to the barn to get fertilizer.

"The plant I wanted to grow here was left in the barn," Zayn said to Theresa.

"Then let me take it," said Theresa.

In the warehouse Daniel is still looking for the desired fertilizer. He saw Theresa enter.

"What do you want to take?" asked Daniel.

"Listen. It just so happens that we're alone here. I have something to tell you," Theresa said scared.

"What is it?" asked Daniel curiously.

"The campus has managed to find the perpetrator of Leon's murder. I saw it too," said Theresa again.

"Is that true?" asked Daniel.

"You've got to decide Jane. Stay away from that girl," Theresa said, sobbing.

"Calm down Theresa. Tell me, what does Jane have to do with everything you said about the murder?" Daniel was confused.

"It was Jane. The girl was a murderer. While laughing, Jane killed Leon. Someone who was once an important person in her life. You have to stay away, Daniel. Jane is a psychopath," said Theresa, shaking even more.

Daniel hugged Theresa to calm her down.

"Don't tell anyone this. It's dangerous," said Daniel. Daniel's mind was confused when he heard Theresa's words.

"I have to go," Theresa said.

Theresa hastily picked up a plant, then went outside and gave it to Zayn.

"Where's Jane?" Zayn asked.

"Jane?" Theresa didn't understand.

"Jane followed you to the barn," said Zayn.

Theresa didn't answer. Theresa hastily grabbed her bag and said goodbye. Theresa's face went pale and frightened.

"Why the girl?" asked Virgo.

"I don't know," Zayn said.

Daniel brought the fertilizer and dropped it in a place that was easy for everyone to reach.

"Where's Jane?" asked Daniel.

"I followed you to the warehouse," said Alex.

Daniel was surprised. He was suddenly worried that Jane would hear what Theresa had to say.

"Where's Theresa?" asked Daniel.

"The girl left with a scared face. I don't know what happened," said Zayn.

Daniel immediately ran to the front of the fence. His heart suddenly feared another murder. If it was Jane who killed Leon, it could be that Theresa would be the next victim.

"What are you doing?" asked Jane.

Daniel was surprised and immediately turned around. Jane was in front of him. If it was Jane who killed and is now after Theresa, there's no way Jane would still be there.

"I was after Theresa. I don't know why I left without saying goodbye," said Daniel.

"There may be an urgent need," said Jane.

"Maybe," said Daniel. He decided to return to the garden and immediately finished his work. Daniel's mind was no longer calm. He wanted to see evidence of the hidden camera. Daniel wants to make sure that Jane is the real culprit or not.

After showering Daniel said goodbye. He left all the housework to Alex. Daniel intends to go to the police station to see the evidence. However, as soon as a few meters out of the gate of his house, an object fell on top of his car.

Leo who saw Daniel's car stopped in the distance immediately called Alex and told him what he saw. Alex immediately followed to check.

Daniel froze in place. He was very shocked to see what fell right in front of him. A corpse he was very familiar with. The corpse stared at him with bulging eyes and was covered in blood.

"Theresa!?!" Daniel couldn't believe his lips were mentioning the name of the corpse in front of him.

Alex, who had just arrived, immediately saw the corpse and asked Daniel to come out the next door. Because the door near the steering wheel was splashed with blood. Alex quickly called Tommy to come. Not to forget, Alex also contacted Leon to keep the incident a secret from the people of the house, especially Jane.

Tommy immediately came with some forensic officers. They immediately made observations and gathered the available evidence.

"Bodies are hung from above by ropes connected to the bottom. As soon as someone crosses it will fall on top of them." Thomas told Daniel and Alex.

"You mean the corpse was dead before it was hanged?" asked Daniel.

"True. Stab wounds in several places. The murder model is exactly the same as the previous murder. Edward and Sarah, Leon and now Theresa. Everything was done by the same person," said Tommy.

"Impossible," Daniel muttered.

"I suspect too. Why is all this killing around you and Jane," Tommy said.

"Don't talk recklessly!" Alex snapped. "Before we met Jane. We didn't have a problem with murder."

"Sorry. Didn't mean to offend," said Tommy, realizing his mistake.

"What about the killer, Leon. When Teresa came here, she meant to tell the killer. Theresa said the surveillance camera had captured the killer," said Daniel.

Tommy sighed. "True. But in the picture it's very dark and we can't clearly see who the killer is. We're still conducting searches and research on the video," said Tommy.

Daniel breathed a sigh of relief for a moment. But if Theresa's words are true, it means that the perpetrator is indeed Jane. But it's strange why Jane was with him when Theresa's murder was carried out.
