Chapter One
-Aquaria-
My eyes opened and i was comforted with the darkness. The smells of awakening tea filled my nose. I reached for the nightstand as a familiar soft paw greeted me. This was Oliver my house cat I had granted endless life to. He was one of the few reasons I planned to never return to the conclave. The deep purr he greeted me with assured me he wasn’t mad I had been gone for two decades. A loud rustling outside the door assured me Ms.Frey was still the current caretaker of the Manor. This was the place all stars fell to when it was their time to nurture the earth. We were blessed with the knowledge of millions of years. Our presence here illuminates the earths healing abilities from the surge of pure star dust.
The soft nuding of Oliver reminded me it was time to take the tea. It was a connection of suppressed memories for visits long past with knowledge of earth today. I was eager this time. My starsoul was taken. I needed to find the person who had taken it and what they thought they needed it for. It was my only way to fall to earth. I was thankful it had not been destroyed before it was my turn. If I wanted to stay here eternally I had to find my mate and they had to accept it. Once they accepted it my life force would surge through us both feeding the earth forever. The starsouls were guarded by a blood coven of witches, werewolves, and vampires. The best fighters of their kinds. I needed to reach out and see how it was taken so easily. And that meant having to deal with an obnoxious temper mental werewolf. Xadrian, my ex. Alpha of the ancient blood coven.
The door opened and Ms. Frey brought in boxes of things for me to look through that i had left the last time I had fallen as well as new clothing. As a 6th generation starsoul I hadn’t aged a day past 25. I thanked her and she made her way out the door, Oliver following after her. She promised to bring me my favorite earth treats shortly. One thing I loved about earth was the food. It was so messy with it’s mixtures, truly fascinating that humans had developed food so intricate. They unknowingly mixed emotions of the human mind with the food. The connection could be full of pleasure and was able to bring back memories. Something humans have yet to tap fully into. I pushed my hand through the soft fabrics reaching for something current. I loved the way ripped jeans felt. The small breeze that teased my legs. I grabbed a loose black tee and tied it up into a crop top. Walking over to my vanity I was greeted in the mirror to my favorite self. I was short and curvy. My hair was a dirty dish water blonde and my true bright green eyes flashed back to me. A sly smile curved my lips. Getting information out of Xadrian is going to be easier than I thought.
