The Fallen Aquaria

Chapter Five

-Aquaria-

Orion let me be, He knew trying to chain me down to common area was useless.  I was met with stares as I walked up the main stair case. I was headed straight to my problem. I needed to get his over with so I could begin living my eternal life here on earth.  I needed to claim my starstone. Taking it myself ensures it’s safety forever. It also means I will be forced to live unfated. I can still have relations but I wont be able to find my mate. I was trying to remain positive. I never intended on falling again, let alone living on earth eternally.  But the fact that someone stole my starstone pissed me off enough I would destroy whoever dared look at it let alone touch it. 

I entered the code to the top floor, it was the Alpha’s suite. Silly Xadrian changed it. Another perk I have is sensing and objects past. Sometimes they are hard to see. This one was plain as day almost as if he had taken off any extra precaution. More ammunition in the fight that was about to go down. Deep down I wondered if Xadrian has moved it to get me to come here.  But that thought was quickly taken away when more memories of my last time here surfaced. 

He had said his bloodline was immune to mated curse. That being mated makes one weak as they were vulnerable to another.  The more I was around him the more I felt fated. It was quickly halted when I walked into this same room all those years ago to see a red head wrapped around him. His head tilted to the ceiling as he thrusted in and out of her.  The last thing I saw was her t**s bouncing up and down looking at me with a smile so big like she had won the ultimate prize. That is when I decided the fated feelings were wrong. As this woman begin to giggle, Xadrian locked eyes with me in the door way.  He coldly said we were done as I slammed the door behind me. 

I never thought i would be opening this door again. I winced as I walked through. 

-Marissa-

I heard the elevator, Xadrian must have had a quick talk with Picen. He had no idea Picen was my father. It was a secret I wasn’t even supposed to know of. The visions have gotten worse ever since I moved the starstone. It was like my father was telling me no. He had no right.  My father had never been in my life.  What little my mother spoke of him made me sick.  I adjusted myself on the bed. Xadrian needed me,  I could just feel it. The life left my face with who I locked eyes with instead. 

-Xadrian-

Orion greeted me with a smile as I parked my bike. “ I do not know what she wants, but lord Xadrian you are a fool. I would worship the ground she walks on.” 

My heart begin to thud so loud it felt like my ear drums were going to explode. My wolf was stirring and the anxious feeling got worse.

“ Wow Xadrian, are you nervous?”  I shoved past Orion. I ran my hand through my hair and jogged up the steps. I could smell something delicious. Fresh ripened pears and strawberries, was that vanilla?  I felt my eyes roll to the back of my head and a growl escaped my mouth. 

-Aquaria-

Well so much for Xadrian not being able to commit. I locked eyes with the same red head. She was sitting in his bed naked with just a thin sheet pulled up to her eyes. She looked like a terrified child. How cute. 

“ Hel..he..hello Aquaria” squeaked out of her mouth. It was almost commercial. The fear was curing my sadness i promised myself not to feel.  “ I am sorry I don’t think we’ve met?” 

“ I am Marissa, the head witch of the Alpha Blood Coven, mate of Alpha Xadrian”

It felt like an eternity until I spoke. The word mate burned my ears and my throat feel swollen shut. 

That sadness came over me and I collapsed. I tried everything to stop this feeling. I quietly spoke a healing ritual to ease the pain that was piercing into my heart.  It worked for a split second until I fainted.

Aquaria had frozen before my eyes. I flinched, bracing myself for pain. She had to have known it as me. At least a death from her would be quick. Then I heard Xadrian. He had Aquaria in his arms. Tears. Were those tears from Xadrian?

I watched as he inhaled her at her neck. This shouldn’t be happening. The spell can’t be broken because if it was he would know.  Casting this spell meant it would tenfold erupt if broken.  I can feel my death coming. I carefully snuck out of the bed and onto the balcony. I used all of my energy left into me to transport myself home. I had one more transport left in my amulet and it took absolutely everything out of me.
