Alexander stood at the entrance of the room, his presence alone suffocating the space. Fuan didn’t move. He didn’t even blink. Two men. Two kings of darkness. Two different kinds of ruthless. And in between them— Michelle. Her wrist still burned where the mark had been placed. She held it close to her chest, breathing unevenly, eyes darting between them. Lian stood slightly behind Alexander now, jaw tight, ready—but not reckless. Because he knew this wasn’t a fight you rushed. This was a war that started with silence… and ended in blood. Fuan tilted his head slightly. ā€œSo,ā€ he said softly, eyes on Alexander, ā€œthis is the man they fear.ā€ Alexander’s expression didn’t change. ā€œYou entered my house,ā€ he replied coldly, ā€œand touched what I allow under my protection.ā€ Fuan smiled faintly. ā€œProtection?ā€ A low chuckle. ā€œShe doesn’t look protected.ā€ Michelle flinched slightly at the words. Alexander’s gaze shifted—just for a second—to her wrist. The mark. Something darker passed through his eyes. Then he looked back at Fuan. ā€œYou made a mistake.ā€ Fuan stepped forward one pace. ā€œNo,ā€ he corrected. ā€œYou did.ā€ The room tightened instantly. Even the air felt frozen. Lian’s hand moved slightly—ready. But Alexander lifted his hand just once. A warning. Stay back. Fuan noticed. And smiled wider. ā€œYou always were arrogant, Alexander,ā€ he said quietly. ā€œThinking everything in your world belongs to you.ā€ Alexander took one slow step forward. ā€œNo.ā€ A pause. ā€œOnly what I choose to keep.ā€ Their eyes locked. And for a second— The mansion felt like it would split in half. Then Fuan spoke again. ā€œShe is not yours.ā€ Alexander didn’t answer immediately. Instead— He walked forward. Slow. Controlled. Until he stood just a few feet away. Close enough to feel the threat. Close enough to end it. Then he said— ā€œShe will be.ā€ Michelle’s breath caught. Fuan’s expression darkened slightly for the first time. ā€œā€¦Interesting,ā€ he murmured. A beat of silence. Then— He moved. Not toward Michelle. Not toward Lian. Toward Alexander. Fast. Controlled violence. Alexander reacted instantly. The two collided in motion— A strike. A block. A grip. Not chaos— Precision. Like both had done this before. Like both had been waiting for it. Lian stepped forward immediately— But Alexander snapped without looking. ā€œDON’T.ā€ Lian froze. Michelle backed into the wall, heart racing, watching the two men clash like storms given human form. Fuan leaned in close during the struggle. His voice low. Only Alexander could hear it. ā€œYou don’t understand what she isā€¦ā€ Alexander shoved him back slightly. ā€œā€¦then explain.ā€ Fuan smirked. ā€œI don’t share what I own.ā€ That was enough. Alexander’s eyes darkened completely. A sharp movement— Fuan was pushed back hard into the wall. The impact cracked faintly through the room. But Fuan only laughed softly. Like pain meant nothing. ā€œYou’re already losing control,ā€ he said. Alexander stepped closer again. ā€œLeave.ā€ Fuan tilted his head. ā€œNo.ā€ A pause. ā€œI came for her.ā€ His gaze flicked to Michelle. ā€œAnd I don’t leave without what I came for.ā€ Michelle’s eyes widened in fear. Alexander noticed instantly. And something shifted inside him again. Something more dangerous than anger. Possession. He stepped between them fully now. Blocking her completely. ā€œShe’s not moving,ā€ Alexander said coldly. Fuan smiled faintly. ā€œThen I’ll come back when you’re weaker.ā€ Alexander leaned forward slightly. ā€œTry it.ā€ A silent promise. A threat with no end. For a few seconds— Neither moved. Neither blinked. Then Fuan slowly stepped back. Not defeat. Decision. ā€œThis isn’t over,ā€ he said quietly. Alexander didn’t respond. Fuan turned toward the exit. But paused at the door. ā€œTake care of her,ā€ he added. A faint smirk. ā€œOr I will.ā€ And then he was gone. Silence returned. But it wasn’t peace. It was aftermath. Heavy. Broken. Michelle slid down slightly against the wall, still shaking. Her wrist burned again. Lian exhaled slowly, tension still in his body. But Alexander— Alexander didn’t move. Didn’t relax. Didn’t soften. He just stood there… watching the door Fuan left through. Like the war had only just begun. Then slowly— He turned. His eyes landed on Michelle. On the mark. On the danger she brought without knowing. And quietly— dangerously— he said: ā€œFrom now on… you don’t leave my sight.ā€ --- T.B.C… šŸ’¬ 250+ COMMENTS ā¤ļø 500+ LIKES šŸ” SHARE
