Dreams

"It's time," I heard a feminine voice speak; I was surrounded by darkness, which left me uneasy.  "Who are you?" I questioned trying to hear the voice again. "That's not something you should worry about," the voice spoke again causing to turn in the direction I heard it, " you're getting stronger and you should really start training. The powers of the chosen one can't carry you forever." "Who's going to train me?" I asked. "I am," the voice spoke and just like that I found myself in warrior clothing with a sword in my right hand. I was know surrounded by trees. "This is just a dream," I mumbled to myself, trying to calm down my racing heart. "It is a dream, but so much can happen," the person knows walked from behind a tree but a cloak covered their face, "this is where you will learn control and how to connect." "Are you gonna tell me who you are?" I asked, wielding the sword in my hand to distract myself from the panic I felt. "In due time, but you have nothing to fear for I am not the enemy," they said and for some strange reason that calmed me down, "I know you have questions about your past and I promise you on this journey you're about to have, you'll find out everything." "How did you know that?"  "I'm in your mind Adora, I have access to everything," they said walking closer to me. "That's concerning,"  I mumbled. The person was standing right in front of me and it felt as if I couldn't move. "I would love for this to continue but you need to be awake now," they spoke. "How are you gonna train me?" I asked. "Wake up," they whispered, placing their index finger on my forehead and just like that I was falling in a dark void. I sprung up from my bed with sweat dripping down my face; I looked out the window to see the sun hasn't risen yet. I got up out the bed and changed from the thin nightgown I was wearing to a green, gold and white dress. The dress had white fabric in the front and green fabric decorated the rest of the dress and the hood connected to it, there were gold laces that tied in the front and gold embroidered the sleeves of the dress beautifully. I paired the dress with a pair of black flats I found and my favorite sword that I had persuaded the king for; I stepped outside and noticed Aaroxx sleeping soundly in the garden so I walked quietly into the woods with the hood over my head. I had no idea where I was going, but my body had a mind of its own as I made my way through the woods. I stopped when I saw the beautiful scenery before me, there was a waterfall and the moonlight shined on the surface causing to glisten. There were colorful flowers scattered all around the area but what made it beautiful were the animals that were playing with each other, they looked like a community. The moment was ruined when I accidently stepped on a branch and the snap brought all their attention to me, but instead of fleeing like I thought they were going to they started to surround me. I tried to back away from them but it was like they were coming from everywhere, looking at me intrigued. They started to step out of the way, they were on the sidelines and a clear path was formed and a black Pegasus stood at the end. It made it way towards me while I stood glued to my spot taking in its beauty, as it came to a stop in front of me it looked me up and down and suddenly I felt anxious. "We've been waiting for you," a rich feminine voice spoke. "Why am I not surprised?" I mumbled to myself before turning back to her, "What were you waiting for?" "Master had told us to expect the chosen one and seeing you understand what I'm saying you are her," she spoke calmly.  "I'm the only one that can hear you?" I asked surprised. "You and the master," she corrected. "And who is your master?" I questioned hoping to get some answers.  "If she has not revealed herself in your dreams she does not want to be known yet," she explained causing me to groan," she explained causing me to grown, "My name is Sashanta by the way." "Adora, but I'm guessing you already know that," I responded. "Yes, know follow me," she said turning around and walking towards the lake. "Are we going through the lake?" I questioned. "Yes," I was know chest high in the water clod water; shivering slightly. I cringed at the fabric that was now sticking to my body like a leech, Sashanta came to a stop in the middle of the water causing me to "Will I be training here?" I inquired. "Patience," she spoke. I saw all the animals from before were know surrounding the lake staring at us and then they started to whisper. I turned my head back Sashanta to see her lifting one of her hooves then slamming it back down causing a ripple to go through the water. Suddenly the water started to move away revealing a showcase of stairs, I walked behind Sashanta and went into tunnel that was only lit by the moonlight. As soon as I was in it had snapped shut and immediately the place was illuminated by torches lining on the walls. I stood in a training room that looked like it could have been in 'Tomb Raider' after making through series of twists and turns. Weapons lined the walls in front of me and dummies were circled around the room, there were also writings on the walls. "Who made this room?" I asked running my hands over the bow before me. "Master did," she answered, "you know we have been watching you." "That's weird and stalkerish," I responded causing her to chuckle. "All animals in this kingdom respond to me and then I to the master. Master wanted to see what skills you had and if the powers you hold as the chosen one has been activated yet so we can help improve, and so far we know you are good with a sword," she explained. "Yeah, surprisingly," I whispered looking down at the wet sword in my hand. "How are you in hand to hand combat?" she asked. "I'm good, I took classes and I guess it stuck with me," I answered. "That will hold you over for know," she mumbled quietly to herself. "If you don't mind me asking why are you doing this know? Couldn't you have found me before Killian or done this a day ago? Are expecting me to learn everything tonight?" I asked feeling more anxious. "We didn't get instructions from the master and I don't know why she waited this long. No one is expecting you to get it this quick but you do need training and basic defense skills even though you are leaving tomorrow training will continue so don't worry, she spoke calming my raging pulse. "Now let's begin!"
