MONIQUE's POV
"Mau--" I was stunned when I called Maureen's name and saw her. Her hair was slightly curly now, not like before when it was straight and smooth. She's also wearing light makeup, a peach floral off-shoulder dress, and killer heels.
Even other students couldn't help but stare at her as she walked down the hallway like a model.
"Excuse me, where's room 304?" I blinked as she stood in front of me and asked.
"M-Maureen..." I gasped. She furrowed her brow and then smiled at me.
"So you know my sister. Good thing, I'm Marshan. By the way, I'm Maureen's twin sister," she said with a smooth British accent.
Maureen and I are of similar height when I wear heels, but I felt dwarfed by Marshan because of her high heels. She's so intimidating that I felt nervous speaking beside her, as if she'd snap at me if she got annoyed.
"T-The room 304 is here." I stammered. She smiled at me and entered the classroom. Everyone in the class fell silent. I had no idea how she knew where Maureen sat, but she went right to her seat. I walked to my seat as well.
I stole glances at Marshan who remained calm and composed. She looked lost in thought. Even our classmates couldn't help but glance at her and whisper to each other.
I winced when the three of them arrived simultaneously. They had a questioning look when they saw Marshan. I just shrugged. I was also anxious about what might happen when the twins met.
MAUREEN"S POV
D*mn it! I'm late! I practically ran down the hallway, almost flying. I'm sure our class has already started, and I'm 15 minutes late. I gasped for breath as I stood in front of our classroom door.
I held my breath before opening the door. I could already hear our teacher discussing.
"Sorry I'm--" I took a step back when I saw Marshan sitting on my chair. She stared back at me, emotionless. I gritted my teeth and walked towards her. She stood up aggressively and glared at me.
The whole class fell silent as we locked eyes.
"Why are you here?" I couldn't suppress my accent. I'm so fuming mad right now.
She smirked and mocked me with her eyes, "I'm here to take you back, Maureen. You can't run away anymore."
I heard the sound of handcuffs locking on my wrist. One cuff was on her wrist.
"M-Maureen, continue your quarrel outside," the teacher told us. I clenched my lips when Marshan looked at our teacher. She hates it when people butt into our arguments.
"June, July, August... I want you to kill this woman, wearing a red blazer inside room 304." She uttered. We all gasped at what she said, especially when June, July, and August barged into our room and pointed their guns at our teacher.
"JUNE, JULY, AUGUST! Touch her and you know what will happen." I hissed at the three butlers now standing in front, ready to kill our teacher. They immediately put down their guns and saluted me.
Marshan held her chin up. "You're going home with me, whether you like it or not."
I pulled her out of our room. I was almost dragging her down the hallway.
"W-Wait up! I'm wearing heels, d*mn it!" She cursed. I stopped walking and glared at her. She winced while holding her wrist. I took the handcuffs and unlocked them. Marshan is dominant; she looks highly upon herself because she knows she has power, control, and authority.
But she doesn't know how to fight; she grew up with people protecting her. That's why she turned into a brat.
"Kuya here?" I asked her. She furrowed her brow, maybe because I spoke in Tagalog. She understands Tagalog, but she doesn't use it.
"Of course, he's here. Do you think I can travel alone?" She rolled her eyes at me. She took the key to the handcuffs and uncuffed herself. I pushed my hair back roughly.
"I have a class to catch up on. You go home first. I'll come see you after my class," I said. Her brow furrowed even more. I can't escape her again.
"Maureen..." Monique and I both turned when Monique approached us, with Raven by her side.
"Hey, are you two okay?" Raven asked. He came closer and checked on me. I noticed Marshan's puzzled look.
"Ah, Raven, Monique, this is Marshan, my twin sister. Marshan, meet Raven and Monique, my classmates."
"I'm more like her best friend here," Monique smiled at Marshan, but Marshan only had eyes for Raven, looking at him with glistening eyes.
"Are you my sister's boyfriend?" Marshan asked. I rolled my eyes. She's making assumptions again.
"No, but I am," I gasped as Waldrin suddenly appeared beside me, making things even more complicated.
"Shut up..." I hissed. I didn't want Marshan to make any more assumptions, especially about my love life. She held my hand and squeezed it lightly.
"I'm hungry," she said.
"I still have class. You can go to the nearest restaurant. I'll come to see you later," I said.
"But I am already famished! I am hungry!" She complained. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. She had always been a brat, a real headache.
"Feed her in the cafeteria, Maureen. I've already got an excuse for both of you," Christian said. I felt Marshan tugging me towards the cafeteria. She turns into a tigress when she's hungry.
"Do you have to come with us?" I asked the four of them, and they just shrugged and followed us to a table. While Marshan was eating, she started talking again. She loves talking so much.
That's the difference between us; I prefer keeping my mouth shut. It's a waste of energy.
"And then, I went to Justin's concert! And also with the meet and greet event! I had a picture with him and got a hug from him! I am super thrilled!" She giggled. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her talk and eat at the same time.
"OMG! By the way! Shawn Mendes will have a concert here. I already secured a VIP ticket for us, and I'll let you have him as your first kiss." She winked. The three of them choked while grinning at Monique.
Well, she doesn't know that my first kiss was with Rocket. I just can't tell her those things because I'm embarrassed.
"You want to go with us?" Marshan asked Monique. "Justin Bieber is mine, Shawn is for Maureen only, and oh! You can have Charlie Puth." Marshan winked at her. I just shook my head and took a sip of water.
"Gosh! I'm torn between Justin and Charlie, Maureen! Wait, Monique, I'll think about it first before giving one to you."
"She can choose," I told Marshan, who still seemed undecided between Charlie and Justin.
"By the way, Maureen, they said the beaches here are beautiful. I brought some swimsuits; let's go to the beach tomorrow," Marshan said. I noticed Waldrin and Monique's eyes sharpened. I've been wearing swimsuits, of course; we have a big pool in the mansion.
"Sure, as if I can stop you," I said and took another sip of water.
"Yes! I'll bring my camera." I choked when she said that.
"No, Marshan! Not again!" I gasped as water entered my nose.
"Hahaha no! I already have my collections, dear." She winked. I sighed and rubbed my forehead. She likes dressing me up and taking pictures of me. I have a huge picture in her room where I'm wearing just a white polo and boyleg shorts.
"I'll show it to you some other time, Monique." Marshan grinned and continued eating. My twin sister may be a big eater, but she never gains any weight.
One glance and you'll see our difference; as I said, these are not my original eyes. My eyes are silver-colored, while Marshan has green eyes. Marshan loves dressing up, while I'm content with my jacket, jeans, and sneakers.
I blinked when Marshan suddenly choked on her food.
I couldn't help but burst into laughter, noticing how shocked the four of them were at my loud laughter while Marshan turned red from drinking water too fast.
"D*mn! Take it easy." I chuckled as I patted Marshan's back. She took a deep breath before pouting at me.
"Hooo! That was close! I almost choked to death." She breathed heavily.
"I missed you, Marshan." I smiled.
She smiled back at me and hugged me. "I know, that's why I flew all the way here."
If I have weaknesses, maybe it's Raphael and Marshan. They are what make me feel human beyond this monstrous life and body.
