In the backyard on the patio, I climbed inside the small hot tub and sat across from a very-relaxed Topher. We didn’t say anything for a while. I looked at the blue sky and tried to smile at the barely-there clouds. The sun didn’t shine in our direction just yet, but the weather was still perfect. “So…” Topher sighed. “I guess this means we’ll have to keep sharing a room for who knows how long.” I nodded at the realization of how challenging it was. Sure, one of us could sleep on the couch, but what point was there when my bed could fit the two of us comfortably?
