the lady who sells yam by the road side

sometimes the devil doesn't wear black or have horns on his head sometimes the devil sells yam by the road side. madam joy is a very beautiful lady and she who always smiles at people that no one would even think she was a bad person. in a very small town one morning madam joy located to that town nobody has ever seen her before or heard about her all dey saw was that she has just started a yam business by the road side at first no body came to her to buy or even went close to her but she won't even bother about the fact that she doesn't have a single customer days went by and madam joy hasn't even been able to sell any yam since she located to the small town but things began to change when a very young man brought yam from her hand he was so shocked and surprised by the sweetness of the fried yam and sauce ever since then madam joy customer began bigger most times the yam won't even be enough for her customer. Chapter 2 soon every one was now a regular customer in madam joy shop people loved her fried yam the smell attracted passer by and workers returning from work children spent there daily money on madam joy yam but unknown to them that dey were buying yam from the devil days pass years pass madam joy has become a very rich woman in the small town were she started her yam business her secret was relieved by Vivian a very smart kid Vivian was just 12 years old and she has heard a lot about madam joy yam business but has not tasted it she has always wanted to taste what the yam was like and why it was different from other people yam Vivian became more curious as at how madam joy yam will taste like so one day she decided to go buy yam from madam joy on getting there madam joy has just started packing her things up she was done for the day business so Vivian decided to come very in the morning because on getting there she meant lot of people who were not able to but madam joy yams so dey were told to come in the morning chapter 3 the next morning Vivian woke up as early as 5 to be able to get to taste madam joy yam on getting there she meant madam joy talking as if she was with someone Vivian hid somewhere bad to find out who she was talking to Vivian looked and looked but she couldn't find any body there she was shocked madam joy continued talking saying some words like .dey don't know who dey are dealing with by the time I am ready to carry out my mission given to me by my master no body in this town will be alive Vivian was shocked she became sacred ahhh everybody will die in this town ahhh why now what have will done she said to her self but the answer never came to her and suddenly she saw madam joy setting her pot and fire wood to begin her morning business but what she saw shocked her more there was no yam that madam joy has peeled all she did was pour water into the pot and the water became oil and then she use a knife to cut her self and yam filled the pot and big blow that was there Vivian became afraid she ran back home without buying the yam she went out for fear held her she couldn't talk to anybody about what she saw because she believed no one would believe her
