17. A mistake

NOLAN Getting into the cabin ushered a flood of memories to my mind. It made me remember how excited I used to feel whenever we came here as kids, waiting to change at midnight. It was a little funny how growth and age could make one redefine what constituted happiness and even ‘fun'. On full moons— oh dear— we, young werewolves especially, all used to be so excited. And why not? Being that we had all gotten accustomed to the pain of changing, the full moon was always fun for us.
