“Have you no semblance of shame?” Alessia whispered, her face almost cringing in disgust. Enzo only spared her a glance before dropping the weight he was lifting.
The heavy dumbell bounced on the gym's floor before stilling. Turning to Alessia, Enzo said,
“It's too early for this. Let me be, just this once.”
“I should let you be?” She laughed and looked around again, everyone seemed to be focused on the morning routine, ignoring their boss and his sister's regular bickering. “I have warned you several times not to invite your bitches but to no avail, you—-”
Enzo shook his head with gritted teeth and walked away, leaving Alessia staring at his back. He stepped out of the gym, not forgetting to grab a bottle of water at the entrance.
As he stepped out, he bumped into Andrea, who as always, looked like he's in a hurry.
“Extra hour. You are late.” Enzo stated as he brushed shoulders with Andrea. Andrea let out a groan but couldn't complain, he knew Enzo had been lenient with him for far too long and if he becomes too lenient, the others will term him as involving in partiality.
After gulping the water down his throat, Enzo threw the empty bottle into a waste bin nearby. Not caring to look back, he walked to the elevator and took it to his floor.
As he moved to his room, his eyes snapped to Olivia's door and his eyes flared in anger as he saw the broken lamp’s shard in front of the entrance. He got the urge to step into the room and vent his anger on the girl behind the door but in reality, he didn't know why he was angry.
Brushing his fingers through his hair, he stepped into his room and locked the door behind him.

“Fifty eight,
Fifty nine,
Sixty!”
Immediately after counting to sixty, Olivia dialed Lisa's number. She'd timed every thing, including the regular time Lisa always log into her social media account.
The phone rang twice before Lisa's excited voice sounded from the other side.
“Olivia?”
“Hmm?” Olivia answered.
“Ohh my goodness. Oliviaaaa, how are you faring? Did you sign a contract? He told you to be his s*x slave for a year? Did he—”
“ —shut the f**k up, will you?” Olivia interrupted calmly.
“Nooo, I'm just—”
“Lily, this is not a romance novel for f**k sake. Just hear me out. And I'm good, at least, I'm in one piece. My head is not butchered yet and my p***y is not forcefully drilled yet.”
Lisa sighed, more in disappointment than in relief. “I just thought that it would be the norm for real.” She whispered.
“The norms? The twisted novels you always read? Well, mine is worse…” Olivia whispered and sat on the edge of her bed.
“What?”
“I wasn't able to sleep. The bastard was drilling some hoes the previous night and I just went ahead and made a fool of —”
“Holy Molly…” Lisa whispered. “The ship had capsized…”
Olivia sighed in defeat and fell on her bed. “There's no ship to begin with…” she whispered. “That aside, do you still remember Alessia?”
“Alessia, Alessia, the girl that was in final year went you were in your second year?” Lisa asked.
“Yes.”
“What happend to her.”
“She's his sister.” Olivia muttered, and held the phone away from her ears. Just like she'd expect, Lisa exclaimed from the other side.
“You've got to be kidding me. How can the sweet Alessia be related to him. If I could remember clearly, you mentioned that they use guns, does she look like someone who can wield one?”
“People are not meant to be underestimated Lily. Moreover, I'm all about the silver linings.”
“A hint?”
Olivia stood up and glanced around the room warily.
“Hold.”
She checked under the bed, the dressing mirror and even the bedside table for any sign of cameras of voice recorder.
“You there?”
“Yes…” she whispered.
Still not sure, she moved away from the room and tiptoed into the huge bathroom. She locked the door behind her and sat on the rug at the entrance of the bathroom.
“So, I plan on begging her to let me escape.”
“Yen yen yen, as if it will be easy…”
“I know, I know. But, at least I will try my luck right?” She whispered. “I will lay my head low for a while and follow the devil's bidding. Perhaps, if I please the devil for a while, all the while showing her how pitiful and miserable her brother is molding me into, she will show mercy upon me and find a way for me to escape or convince the devil.”
“A good plan you've got there. That seems plausible,” Lisa pondered. “I will read more and check for ways for you to escape.”
“Gods lily, do you think that novel escape plan also applied here? I'm literally in the devil's clutch here.”
“Can we swap? I will appreciate if my life-long fan—”
“You called to check up on me bah? Well, you've got what you wanted. I'm good, hale and hearty and I'm really enjoying here. I will hit you up when I have more gist or you should when you miss my voice. Don't miss me too much. Muah.”
Not waiting for a response, Olivia hung up and placed her phone on the tiled floor with the phone's screen facing the floor directly. Her fingers found her hair and she almost pulled it out in frustration.
Right now, frustration is an understatement of what she's currently feeling. She couldn't even sleep in peace and can't even get the benefit of enjoying the fruit of her ‘labor’. She'd hacked into Enzo's account because of her selfish desires and her tuition fee, but now, she couldn't enjoy it in peace all because karma decided not to give her a break. But even with this, she knew nobody will know that she's missing, not even the one who she once called mother.
She sighed. Olivia knew that this is not the time for remorse or self-pitying. Just like Lisa had said, she'd decide to turn this into a vacation and one thing is set in stone for her. She needed to sleep, who knows if this night will be like the previous.
Heaving another sigh, she picked up her phone and stepped out of the toilet. She fell on her bed and inhaled the soft laundry scent. Even without doing anything, she felt tired, not mentally, but physically.
She turned and stared blankly at the POP ceiling, the room is silent and she suddenly missed the sound of the c**k ticking at Lisa's apartment.
Suddenly, the shrill tone of her phone ringing brought her out of her slowly descending reverie and involuntarily, her hand shot to the ringing phone.
“Hiro.” She whispered as she saw the caller's name.
