Back to the debt collector

Palermo, Italy. “One, Two!” “One, Two!” “Two, one!” “One, one!” A thunderous voice chanted somewhere far away followed by the repeats of other voices. Enzo walked away from the bustling space of the gym. Around his neck, is a white towel. He grabbed it and used it to wipe his sweaty face. His black tank top stuck to his body and his tattooed arms and hairy chest glistened with sweat. When he reached the entrance of the gym, he grabbed a bottle of water at the entrance’ side and stepped out. He opened the water and gulped it down, his Adam apple bobbing up and down before he poured the little water remaining in the bottle on his head. Suddenly, he turned back, where the short figure of Alessia stood, her gray eyes shooting daggers at him. “What the f**k do you want again? Stop following me!” He groaned and used his hand to rake his hair before throwing the bottle in the nearest waste can. “The same thing I've been saying since yesterday.” Alessia started, crossing her arms over her chest. “Don't do anything to her, Enzo. If you do, then don't ever talk to me again.” Enzo and Alessia are siblings. But, they are polar opposites, especially with Enzo's grumpy and cold nature, and Alessia's outspokenness and wittiness. Enzo let out a hiss before walking away from Alessia in long strides. However, Alessia only smiled and moved back to the gym. For Enzo, it's too early for s**t and he didn't want his Thursday to be ruined this early in the morning. He took the elevator and went straight to his room's floor. He dropped the towel in a trash can before moving to his room whose door stood some meter down the floor. Some minutes later, he came out, dressed in black pants and a black polo shirt. The sleeve band tightened around his muscular arms making his muscle bulge and revealing his tattooed arms. He moved to the elevator and came out on the last floor. The Profaci mafia's second main building has four floors. The last, the first, second, third, and fourth. Enzo moved from the fourth floor to the last floor. When he stepped out, two gauntly built men in sunglasses were already waiting for him outside the elevator. The first had a nasty scar running from under his right eye to his cheeks. The second is taller than the first but he's bald. They were both dressed in black suits and the shorter one was the one who'd given Enzo a chair when he was torturing Olivia. “Good morning boss.” They greeted him in unison. Enzo replied with a nod and moved past them. They followed him from behind. “Today's report?” He asked, outstretching his left arm and the taller man hurriedly places a tab on his palm. His eyes scrolled the contents before he returned it. “Will check it later. A brief summary?” “No problem with the docks.” “Good.” He finally answered as they stepped into an underground parking lot which is fixed with different luxurious cars, mostly black. He outstretched his hand again which made the two men glance at each other in confusion. Then, realization settled on the taller man before he hurriedly placed the car key on his palm. Enzo let out a satisfied nod and moved to the driver's side. His head easily towered over the luxurious black mercedes. “Be kind and inform my uncle that I've left the building for now.” After that, he entered the car and sped off. _ _ _ L.A, U.S.A. “Are you really sure about this?” “I've never been this sure, Lily.” Olivia replied, dragging her box out of Lisa's apartment, the wheels creaking due to the force, until she's overlooking the apartment. “Will you come or will you just stand there like a kid whose favourite candy has been collected?” Olivia snapped at Lisa, who stood at the entrance of the doorstep. Lisa hurried down the staircase in a small cream colored short and blue shirt. In her hands was her car key. “It's not everyday that this happens and-” She moved ahead of Olivia and lifted the garage's door then pressed the button on her car key. “-Cut the crap. Just today, I've cried more than I ever did in two f*****g years.” Olivia said dismissively and opened the car’s boot then dropped her luggage filled with her Versace goodies in it. She then moved to the other side of the driver's seat. The sun had not risen yet and Lisa's neighborhood is almost empty and silent. Nevertheless, when they got out of the luxurious neighborhood, there are several cars moving. After all, it's just 2:30 in the morning. “Can you speed up?” Olivia suddenly asked, leaning to the front to shoot Lisa a glare. “I don't have all the time. I have just few minutes left before the end of seven hours. Who knows if they will just wipe us off the face of earth this time around.” She added before falling into her seat in defeat. “Take a chill, take a chill. I'm just enjoying the last moments okay?” After that, the slow ride to the airport was entirely silent. As soon as they got to the airport, they exchanged a crushing hug. “Promise to update me everytime.” Lisa said, giving Olivia a doe eye. “I will shawty. But only if the debt collector doesn't restrict me…” “Restrict you? You are pretty cool yourself. Don't forget you are like air, you will always find a way to escape and-” “-It's okay. This is not the time for motivation.” Olivia interrupted. “Anyhow, just call me as soon as you reach your vacation’s location.” “Vacation?!” However, Lisa continued as if she didn't hear Olivia's outbursts. “I will be updating Hiro anytime he asks.” “You dare not!’ “But I will miss you…” “Same here baby.” They exchanged another hug before Olivia went on to process her ticket, get her luggage scanned and board her flight. _ _ _ Palermo, Italy. “Were you able to hack into her car system through her phone yesterday?” Enzo asked, his icy blue eyes fixed on Andrea who sat with a box of pizza on his laps, a half-eaten pizza slice in his hand and his laptop by his side on the couch he was sitting on. “Yup.” He replied, with a mouth full of pizza. “Check where they are…” He ordered, leaning back into the couch. “godss. Did the East side boys really got you this bad.” Andrea mused but nevertheless, his fingers moved rapidly on his laptop's keyboard. “Anything to keep Martini at bay.” “She's on her way, her friend is already on her way back to her apartment and the seat is empty.” “Good. Let's wait, she will soon ask for help.”
