Let the game begin

Alessia didn't even allow her land before replying: “If it's about helping you escape, count me out. My brother is going to skin me alive. But if it's about making your life a little bit easier, I will definitely make sure of that.” Olivia's face fell and she dropped Alessia's hands which she had grabbed. She clenched her teeth before coming to a conclusion that, if Alessia wouldn't help her escape, she would do it herself. She knew she just had to follow their flow for a while before she would make the run. She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. “It's okay.” “Good.” Alessia answered, her eys doubtful and checking Olivia's, then she let out a sigh. “You know, you just have to convince yourself that you will enjoy the process of repaying your debt for real. Making yourself sad won't help your mentality.” She grabbed Olivia's hands and squeezed it softly. “It's like I survived all that for nothing.” Olivia replied slowly. Then her gaze wanders. They are still in front of the elevator with one of Alessia feet of the threshold which is why the door has not closed yet. A large hallway stands before them “before that, can we move away from here. I feel… naked.” “Sure, sure.” Alessia led her out of the elevator. “This is the fourth floor and it has only four rooms. I can't let you stay on the other floor with the others, I know that they will definitely make your life a living hell when Enzo tells them the reason you're here.” “Is that how loose his mouth is?” Olivia sighed. Alessia burst laughing. “They are his underlings and they don't trust people that easily, they will question your presence.” Olivia mentally rolled her eyes. ‘If he knows that, then, he should have left me be. It's just a measly five million.” “On that, I have something to say.” Alessia hurried in her steps and led her to the third room on that floor. She scanned her thumb print and entered. “So, only Enzo's finger print and mine can unlock the doors on this floor…” she wandered off. “...and some other people that are not worth talking about.” She said the last part in a hurry. Olivia shrugged and just followed her into the room in silence. “Your room right?” “Mmm.” Olivia inhaled deeply. The whole scene looks like a movie to her. Even Alessia's room is bigger than the whole of her mother's apartment in L.A. “What about mine? I will appreciate placing my head on something soft.” “Sorry my bad. I have a lot to gist about that I forgot how tired you are. I will come fetch you tomorrow, probably in the afternoon.” She mumbled and turned back to the door. She led her to the next door after hers. Olivia followed her, dragging her luggage whose wheel's sound is muted against the smooth tile. As they reached the door, Alessia scanned her finger print again and opened the room motioning her in. “I will beg Frosty to add your fingerprint since I can guess you will be staying for a verrrryyyyy long time.” Olivia shot her a glare and dragged her weary body into the room. Alessia's gaze lingered on the door opposite Olivia's new room before entering the room. “You can unlock it from inside but you can't unlock it from outside.” “More better.” Olivia stood at the center of the room, taking the whole view in. The room is painted in white and light gray with a stylish not-too-bright chandelier which looks like a cloud but is emanating a soft light in the center of the room. Right under the chandelier is a huge king-sized bed covered in white sheets and a bedside lamp. Not even bothering to check the other parts of the room, Olivia hurried to the bed and hopped on it. She neither takes off her clothes nor her boots. “Bye Alessia. By the time I wake up, this should be a dream.” She whispered, but just enough for Alessia to hear. Alessia smiled. “In your dreams.” After that, she exited the room and slowly closed the door behind her. Right at that moment, Enzo stood in front of the door opposite Olivia's. When Alessia's eyes settled on him, she leaned back and crossed her arms on her chest as if challenging him. Enzo sighed, his hard gaze softening as he raked his hands through his hair. “I always corrected you not to oppose me in front of outsiders.” “Olivia is not an outsider.” She retorted. “She was the one that kept me at bay at Sorbonne. Don't you think that it's a miracle that I'm not expelled at Sorbonne?” She asked smugly. “That's because she's always with me and I'm able to disregard all the annoying ones.” “I don't know her and she's just a thief.” Alessia shook her head. “You are a lost cause.” With that, she moved away from Olivia's room and walked in the direction of the room next to hers before she halted in her steps and turned to Enzo. “Less I forget, please… I'm begging you right? So please, add her finger print to the combination tomorrow. I will appreciate that. Use that as the favor you owed me for helping you hack into that system.” After that, she opened her door and stepped inside. “Wait!” Enzo shouted after her but she only turned while in her room… “The family or the new girl?” Alessia smirked. “Both.” Then she slammed her door shut, cutting off Enzo. Enzo stared at the door opposite his. A wicked glint passes through his eyes. He knows that Alessia had made a huge mistake by bringing the new girl here and he promises to torment her until she will willingly pack her load and move to the other floor. He raked his hand through his hair again. But before that, he would have used her for his main purpose. His little sister has always been the best hacker that he knows apart from Andrea but even his little sister has had trouble getting past the new girl's firewall. He turned back to his room. “Lexi has made a mistake. By the time I'm done with you, you will run, then I will drag you back.”
