Chapter 25O'Malley slung his suit jacket over the passenger side seat and slid his now lean body under the driver's wheel. His car was parked in the direction he intended to go. Away from the courthouse and his soon to be imprisonment. He cranked the motor and headed toward his new home the Gulf of Mexico in Louisiana. He'd kept in touch with his old friend Joe Hesterberg and possible escape routes in case he was found guilty of murdering Edward Nicholson. His foresight had paid off. He was the new owner of a large sea-going vessel to transport food and supplies to off-shore oil rigs. He'd already hired a captain and crew and made arrangements to provide services to selected rigs under his company's name and new personal identity.
